"J&E contacted me within the day and came the day after. Our yard, which has been utterly neglected for at least 5 years (except for mowing), needed an incredible amount of work. Wisteria had wound through the railings, was threatening to pull down a gutter, was choking out roses,and was utterly dominating two large rhododendrons. We had enough maple seedlings to populate a forest and ragweed was filling our terraced gardens. The men arrived promptly. Jorge listened carefully to what I wanted and asked good questions. When I referred to the desire to replant some daylilies in a better location, he was careful to let me know that this would be a bad idea in the current heat and season. We talked about our present yard service and how their persistent over-cutting of the grass had affected the lawn. Jorge impressed me with his condemnation of it as unethical and, well, just plain stupid. The mens started work while we were still speaking, which initially intimidated me as I worried about their judgment, but I needn't have been concerned. Their work on the wisteria and rhododendron was incredible--careful, precise, and thorough. That quality was maintained throughout the day, I had paid for 12 man hours by purchasing a deal on Angie's List. I thought that I'd be lucky if they even got a fraction of what I wanted done finished. They did more than I ever could have imagined--including clearing out a swath of weeds about 5' deep, 3' high, and 70' long. I've already decided to switch our lawn care to J&E. Rather than having someone so relentlessly in pursuit of a dollar that he cuts the grass two times in a week--when it needed it neither time--I have faith that Jorge will use good judgment and fair intentions to maintain our property. Everything he said and did yesterday supported the idea that this is a man who takes pride in his work and truly cares for his clients. I cannot say enough good things about his service."
