"Pros - Provider was very responsive and communication was excellent. I used Angie’s List to request quotes and this provider responded within an hour. Work was scheduled quickly. - Service technician called ahead, was polite, and took the time to explain the process and the work that was to be completed. - Pricing was very good (if requirements were met – see below). Cons - Six registers (@$15/each) located in the finished basement ceiling were very likely not cleaned as the louvers are kept shut in the summer months and cannot possibly be opened without using a step ladder. No ladder was used by the service technician other than one provided by me for access to the main trunk lines. Step ladder was provided after discovering technician using a chair to stand on. - Access holes drilled into the basement duct work left shards of metal on the floor that were not vacuumed or swept at the completion of the work. A few pieces of sharp metal were later found tracked onto a carpeted stairwell. - Debris was found on the floor and on furniture around a few of the return vents, likely a result of the compressed air used to clean the grill. Although I suspect this may be common and normal, I also suspect leaving it there for the homeowner to clean up is not. - Technician did not wear protective shoe covers when walking across carpeting as is typical for most in-home service work. This is particularly notable for a company also in the carpet cleaning business."

"Terry and Michael are great installers. The owner of the business is very hard to deal with and will not take care of issues that arise. I have been trying for 11/2 years to have my kitchen floor fixed. The owner Todd said I bought discontinued floor and it was my fault that it is coming apart. The tongue and groove edges cracked causing my floor to come up due to an employee beating my floor in place. The employee no longer works there but Todd refuses to fix my floor. I have gaps in my living room and a bad spot in my bedroom. I contacted the flooring company and they told me that the floor was not properly installed. They offered to send replacement flooring, but I would have to pay shipping. I would also have to pay someone to tear up my kitchen and install the new floor. Todd put frog tape on my floor and said they would get caulk and other things to fix my floor. This was 5 months ago and I never heard a word from them. Todd does not believe in customer service and once he has your money he is finished no matter what issues arise."

Professional labor for bathroom tile installation depends on the project's complexity and your location. Standard ceramic and porcelain installations cost between $4 and $8 per square foot for labor alone, while natural stone installations command $6 to $15 or more per square foot due to their specialized handling requirements. Complex patterns or small, intricate tiles will push labor costs toward the higher end of these ranges.
Vinyl and ceramic tiles offer the best value for bathroom installations. Vinyl tiles range from $1 to $15 per square foot and provide good water resistance with straightforward installation requirements. Ceramic tiles cost between $10 and $45 per square foot installed and deliver excellent durability with moderate pricing. Both materials come in various styles that can mimic the appearance of more expensive options while providing reliable performance in bathroom environments.
Retiling a small bathroom of approximately 25 to 50 square feet costs between $250 and $2,500, depending on your chosen materials and installation complexity. A basic vinyl or ceramic installation will fall toward the lower end of this range, while premium materials like natural stone or glass will push costs higher. Remember that small spaces sometimes require more precise cutting and fitting, which may increase labor costs despite the reduced square footage.
A professional bathroom tile installation requires an average of two to three days from start to finish. The active installation work takes approximately six to eight hours, with additional time needed between steps for proper drying and curing. More complex projects involving intricate patterns or larger bathrooms may extend this timeframe slightly. After installation, you'll need to allow 24 to 72 hours of curing time before using the tiled area to ensure proper adhesion and durability.
