"I had the worst luck with other providers. If I wasn't getting my entire driveway redone, the work didn't seem worth it to them. Additionally, the other providers I found on Angie's List were horrible at getting back to me either when they said they would or just not calling back at all. Don was prompt and understood my frustration. He was responsive and got to me when he could. He kept his promise and did great work. I would highly recommend Top Seal and will plan on using them again for future work.

"Very prompt to questions and the price quote. They completed the entire driveway in one day, Very impressed. We were not satisfied with a couple areas of the asphalt in the back car port area. We called and they sent the entire crew back that late afternoon to make the job right. Very impressed with the customer service, and of the crew that performed the actual work. Highly recommend this group."

FAQs for asphalt paving repair or patch projects in Pittsburgh, PA

With routine maintenance, a new residential asphalt driveway can last 15 to 20 years. In regions with heavy rain or freeze-thaw cycles, plan on extra maintenance to hit the upper end of that range. Concrete surfaces last even longer, from 20 to 25 years. Regular sealing and quick crack repairs go a long way toward preserving both materials.

You can pour new concrete over an existing driveway as long as the base slab is solid. Pros often place a three- to four-inch overlay to create a strong bond. If the old concrete is cracked or spalling badly, it’s wiser to remove it and start fresh to ensure durability.

Keep the surface in top shape by sealing it on schedule and tackling damage right away. Roll on a quality seal coat every three years for asphalt, and reseal concrete as needed while patching any flaws you spot. Staying ahead of small issues prevents bigger, pricier repairs and keeps your driveway looking sharp.
