"Steve was our primary contact. His crew did all of the work. It was a huge project and we are extremely pleased with the final product. "I hired Following Steps Landscapers to build a new fence in my backyard, as well as to remove very old chain link and privacy fencing already in place. Once I contacted the owner, Angel, he was able to visit my property and supply an estimate within the week. Work began the following week. Very old fencing was removed and replaced with approximately 225 feet of pressure treated wood privacy fencing. The fencing included two gates: one in front and one in the rear of the property.  One side of the property proved problematic in that it included two old fences parallel to each other containing many old tree stumps as well as weeds and vines. Angel's crew removed everything to install a beautiful fence. The other side of my property contains a very large mulberry tree that sits directly on the property line shared with my neighbor. Angel's crew was able to split the fence to accommodate the tree. My neighbor said the crew was very nice to him when he was giving instructions as to where the property line sat. The crew also removed a large pine tree in the front yard that was planted too close to the house. Work was completed in a week. I was so pleased that the crew, who was very pleasant, also trimmed all of my bushes and cleaned the existing flower beds!  Everything was well prepared for me to begin new plantings in the spring. I was extremely happy with Following Steps work and, if need be, will hire them again.

"They sourced and installed ten 12' emerald arborvites which are very difficult to find. They also did our spring clean up of all out mulch beds. "I met with the owner Micah Dean on a Friday we talked through all the yard issues. He listened  understood exactly what I wanted done.  He said the entire job could be completed in five days.  Although it rained on one of the scheduled work days, they still completed the job on time.   There were several different crews working from fencing to landscaping and they were all very professional and  responsive as the job progressed.  After some of the large bushes were torn out from between the houses I asked if an 8' shrub (after the fact and 3 days into the project) could be placed in the side yard to provide some privacy right at the kitchen door.  The next day... there it was!   When the project was completed I could not believe the transformation.  Micah and his crew really enjoy what they do, and customer satisfaction is important to them.  This is reflected in the quality of their work.  
As a side note, I also had a very large limb that had fallen and was hanging on the power line (the week before I contracted with Dean Landscaping) from my neighbor's tree.  Micah had arranged to have it hauled away, since it had taken the power company so long to respond.  The power company did finally arrive and removed it, however it was very reassuring to know I had a backup plan.  
I couldn't be more pleased with Dean Landscaping.  I will definitely be calling them in the future to have additional work done.
