"We needed a complete front yard landscaping renovation. Don worked directly with us to incorporate our thoughts while suggesting several new ideas and improvements that we quickly accepted. His crew efficiently removed all our existing overgrown plants, saved the few items we wanted to keep and installed the shrubs, perennials, and other new plantings as per the revised plan. He added mulch, decorative stone, and boulders to accent our new front yard. In addition, his crew properly installed the new owner provided trellis for our clematis, supplying the necessary in ground support and cement to ensure a solid free-standing installation. Don and his crew were friendly, professional, and courteous during the entire process. Despite the amount of work required to redo our front yard, noise was kept to a minimum and the entire area was left perfectly clear, with all work-related debris removed. "The project turned out better than I could have imagined! I had a few other companies come over to give me estimates, and ForeverLawn was by far the best! Austin Berryman, the Sales Rep, was exceptional. He was very professional, courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the product and various options. Austin took the time to answer all my questions and explained the entire process to me. Tim Bast and his installation team were also exceptional. His team excavated the original grass, laid down the gravel sublayer, installed the framing, and then installed the artificial grass. Extremely hard working crew! Very professional, did a first rate job, and cleaned up everything and left the area spotless. The final results were beautiful! Best of all... my dog loves playing in her new run! We play out there every day we can, and she no longer has the problems she had with her allergies to regular grass. I cannot stress enough how highly I think of this company! "We looked around at a number of 'high-rated' landscape companies to help us redo our entire front landscape and more. Ours had been overgrown, with trees blocking the house and a walkway that sunk into the ground leaving a large first step to the porch. After we called a number of these companies, Scenic View sent Pat, one of their experienced sales and design people. First off, Pat was great. Comparing him to the other reps who came to talk to us is really not a fair comparison. Patient, helped with design ideas, concerned about the look and maintainability, deers, etc. Not only easy to work with, but eager to help you visualize the design and offers great 3D drawings by which we could review and modify our initial thoughts. Scenic View is a great one-stop-shop. Not only did we have them do the landscaping, which included removing 3 trees from our front yard, removing a whole bunch of bushes, leveling multiple beds that were built up with rocks and mulch, but also they redid our entire front porch. Although they had hoped to just remove the brick and relayer a new front, they came prepared for anything, and in the end, they removed the whole porch and rebuilt it, and helped us select beautiful veneer stone. We also had them do pavers from the street to the new front porch in an aesthetically appealing swerving design (laid out by Pat), and also extended to our driveway. They also put in a new walkway from our driveway to the back deck, giving guest a path to walk - especially when the grass was really wet. Finally, they put in low-voltage lights, with new lights throughout the front of the house and then pathway lights on the walkway to the driveway. To make sure there really was no mud, they laid sod down to all areas they had basically destroyed with the equipment and supplies that were trucked in. They also cleaned EVERYTHING! To say the transformation was large is an understatement. During the process, Scenic's owner, Frankie came and supervised part of the process too. He helped with new suggestions on the landscaping, made sure that adequate supplies were there (they needed more pavers), helped add new pathway lights, and in the end worked to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. We ended up spending more than we originally thought we would, but we also finished off more than we had intended. It was a great investment. Our house picture at street level in Google earth showed a bunch of trees and what looked like a house hiding behind them. Now, the landscape, lights, and front are so good, the curb appeal is amazing. One last thing about Scenic's crews. We used two crews, one for the majority of the hardscapes, and clearing of old landscaping, and one for the back hardscape and all the landscape and sodding. Any company is only as good as its crews, and Scenic has winners. They were hardworking, dedicated, and when you speak to them, they will go out of their way to help you if you have a question or want something changed or fixed. They finished everything in 2 weeks. When I look back and ask myself "was this a good investment?", both my wife and I are extremely happy. Scenic even helped arrange and coordinate the new sprinkler system we installed to ensure it was done at the appropriate time, laid conduit under the pavers to allow them to run their lines, and Frank came back after all was done and the sod was laid to ensure that the heads would pop in the new grass. Comparing Pat, Frank, and all at a very professionally run Scenic View versus other contractors (even those who were recommended on this site) who didn't even provide quotes or drawings, and had less a full line of services, is really a no-brainer. Save yourself tons of aggravation and expense (Scenic is very reasonably priced), call Pat and Frank. Now I'll use them for my landscape maintenance too! Thanks, Scenic View!"

"This is the beginning of my treatment which started mid summer making it hard this year to give a complete review. I will leave that till the end of next season. So far this season, I am happy to say it was worth trying out Dirt & Turf. I had my soil test done which you get on official Rutgers letterhead. Most companies don't do the analysis. The best part so far is that I asked Patrick to come out and explain the parts of my yard that needed the most work. I was in agreement that my sprinkler system was under performing. He also explained what steps they were going to take to address the Rutgers sample and how the treatments would benefit next year. Overall, I appreciate the ability to meet the main service providers and the time spent explaining everything. He also did well in killing the Kyllinga weed in my yard."

"An amazing experience for my landscape lighting. From sales to scheduling to installation... All around a terrific experience and one that we’ve become used to with Tanzer. In the past, they've installed and modified our irrigation to perfection as well. The installers didn’t make a complete mess of the property, especially when they were digging the trenches. The sod was put back nicely, which is a HUGE deal for me. And they took their shoes off to go into the basement after working in mulch, grass and dirt. If you're looking for a landscape lighting and/or irrigation professional, they're the BEST!"

"Craig and his crew did an incredible job very quickly. I had no idea how I was going to get the work I wanted done and then I found Craig. He had an opening in his busy schedule which allowed him to do the project right away and he brought what seemed like an army of men to get it done. I am so pleased with how the backyard looks now. We had an old cement patio that we wanted demolished and replaced with landscaping and a stone path to a stone fire pit. We also wanted a hedge of trees along the fence for privacy. The demolition of the patio was hard work because part of it was under a deck and the yard is small so the equipment normally used for breaking up the concrete didn't fit through the tight spaces that led to the patio area. All the work had to be done manually. The stone path and the fire pit were made from stone and came out beautifully, and the fire in the fire pit is quite beautiful. The landscaping is very well done too. There was a problem with the trees and mulch surrounding the trees pressing on the fence into the neighbor's side of the yard. I called Craig and his crew came out right away to add wood to support the fence. They even took the extra mulch that had to be removed from around the fence and spread it about in the yard with new grass seed. That was a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. I recommend Craig very highly."

"Excellent!! The project took a total of 5 days (not including time for the paver manufacturer to get the pavers in stock). Mr. Amaya spent most of the time getting the foundation right. He put in two layers of crushed stone, the lower layer was of large stones, and the upper layer was fine-crushed stone. He spent an entire day getting the upper foundation just right. The pavers speak for themselves. He put in 22 concentric rings, and every block was precisely placed. Lastly, I was impressed by his honesty. When I gave him his final payment, he told me I overpaid by $300, and gave the money back."
