"I have used this business for 5 years. Washer, dryer and now dishwasher. Reysan has always been honest on time and very knowledgeable. As I stated in a review several years ago. As long as Appliance Squad is in business I will never buy extended warranty on any new appliance. Always great to work with Reyssn and this business."

"Roman and his team started the job on the same day he came out for his initial visit. They replaced three sizable siding areas on my house and repainted the new siding to match my house color. They were done within two days and left the job site spotless. Will be hiring again."

"They have remodeled many rooms in our home over the last 5 years. The latest project was a covered back porch. Mike and his son are an outstanding father/son team. If you can envision it, they can make it happen!"

Credit card accepted

"The only thing I didn't understand was the "coupon" I bought for $59. The company deducted the $59 from my bill which means that it wasn't a coupon of any benefit, just a pre-payment of $59. The "coupon" stated That it was for: $59 for an appliance diagnostic call, complete diagnosis of problem, deal includes a $50 repair credit. What I apparently paid was a pre-payment of $59 that was applied to my bill. I think the company was great but I don't understand what benefit the "coupon" was. It actually turned out to be of no benefit to me at all. Will use this company again in the future but will avoid all coupons!"

FAQs for appliance (microwave oven) installation and replacement projects in Plant City, FL

A pro can finish the job in one to three hours. Countertop models are the quickest, but built-in, drawer, and over-the-range units take longer because the installer may need to run a new outlet, modify cabinets, or add venting. Any add-ons can push the timeline closer to the three-hour mark. Hiring a licensed installer ensures the wiring is safe and the appliance operates at peak performance.

Because an over-the-range microwave doubles as a range hood, it needs proper venting. You can opt for a recirculating model that filters and recirculates air back into the kitchen, or a ducted unit that exhausts outdoors. Are you unsure which route suits your cooking style? Ask your installer for guidance before making a purchase.

Only microwaves labeled “over-the-range” have the built-in venting and lighting that’s necessary for safe, code-compliant use above a stove. Countertop models don’t have those safeguards. Before you swipe your card, have a licensed microwave installer confirm you’re choosing the right unit for the space and ensure compliance with local codes.

It’s best not to install a countertop microwave in your cabinets. Countertop models aren’t designed for use in an enclosed cabinet, and blocking those vents can trap moisture or even create a fire hazard. A built-in or drawer microwave is designed for tight spaces. Run your plans by an installer to make sure you’re buying the right style for the spot.

You don’t need an electrician if the outlet already meets the microwave’s power needs and sits in the right spot. In that case, you’re good to go ahead with the installation. If the outlet is undersized, outdated, or too far away, hire a licensed electrician to install a new one and ensure everything is code-compliant.

With routine care, most microwaves last between five and 10 years. To help them reach their maximum lifespan, wipe up spills immediately, wash the grease filter periodically, avoid using metal dishware, and close the door gently. Those simple habits reduce malfunctions and keep the appliance running smoothly for the long haul.
