"We called several companies, including Pro Home Exteriors, for quotes on wood rot repair. At first, we planned to replace the wood but hadn't considered vinyl or aluminum wrapping. Juan Carlos responded quickly and gave us a fair estimate. After comparing options, wrapping made more sense. We decided to also wrap the soffits fascia, windows, and doors. Juan Carlos and the crew were outstanding-polite, hardworking, and kept everything clean. They even painted a hard-to-reach spot near the roof. When we bought it, the wrought iron fence was rusting, and the back staircase and 3rd floor were in poor condition with old wiring protruding from the walls, paint chipping off the walls and ceiling, and dry and cracking wood doors and built-in cabinets. On the recommendation of a neighbor who called DH Painting one of the best painters in town, I hired them initially to "re-paint" the staircase and 3rd floor. But they did so much more than that and wow it was good! They chipped, sanded, mudded and spackled. They replaced some of the crown moulding that badly needed it, and varnished the built-in cabinets. The difference was like night and day. David has been painting for his whole career (?30+ years) and he brings a ton of expertise to the table. He was great about explaining what he was doing every step of the way, and why each step was necessary to get the best finished product that would last the longest time and would make it the easiest for future painters to touch up. Regarding the wrought iron fence, I was impressed with their work ethic (this was done in the middle of summer in Kansas City) and their meticulousness. Now, my fence looks pretty much as good as an older wrought iron fence can look. Big picture - if you want excellent workmanship and a beautiful finished product, then I highly recommend DH Painting. I will certainly be hiring them in the future as we continue to repaint our house."

"Our house was in dire need of exterior painting. After researching Kevin Turner Painting and talking to Kevin personally, I knew he was the man for the job. Ours is a fairly large house and the job took seven days for Kevin and his three assistants. They removed all the gutters (which were to be replaced later by another company), removed all the storm windows, power washed the entire house, and scraped off all the peeling paint. Before painting, Kevin made a number of wood rot repairs, caulked where needed, repaired the front porch awning, reglazed a number of widows -- and even removed an unsightly old tv antenna from the highest part of the second story, During the painting, Kevin made a couple of suggestions which we agreed to that really improved our house's appearance, such has adding some shutters rather than trimming the doors and windows with an accent color. We were really impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of Kevin and his crew. We are extremely pleased with their work. And our house has never looked so good! We whole-heartedly recommend Kevin Turner Painting!"

Rollers work, but an airless sprayer is the gold standard for full exteriors—it gets paint deep into the texture and speeds up the job. Reserve brushes for tight trim only.
