They made sure to tint the new mortar so that it matched the old mortar, they fixed things we didn't even know needed fixing, they made repairs that went beyond the scope of their estimate—yet they didn't charge us a penny more. Jaigo Construction worked so hard to match the brick on our 60-year-old house and did a fantastic job with that, finding great brick from half-way across the country. The workers were prompt and polite. And after all the work was done, Jaigo cleaned up so thoroughly, no one could have guessed they were here. Finally, Jaigo's estimate was considerably less than those we received from other reputable masonry companies. If this sounds like a rave review, it is. "We are so happy with our new patio! The Foundation1 hardscape team was an absolute pleasure to work with the entire time. John was extremely responsive to all of my questions and concerns throughout the design process. Once they were able to get started, they worked extremely quickly, in the hottest week of the year. They had to dig out and replace our wall/patio completely by hand because our house is raised and getting equipment back there is not feasible. And yet, they worked so efficiently, they made the job seem easy - and it definitely was not! They were also extremely thorough! And were very willing to help me out in small side projects that we added on as we went. Even after the main project was completed, they came back to tackle the tuck-pointing because they didn't want to rush it. They even came back on two separate occasions when I was concerned about the drainage on small spots on the patio. They take a lot of pride in their work and want to make sure their customers are happy. I would definitely hire them again (although they did such a great job, I don't think I'll need another patio for 50+ years.)"

"It went very well. Two very professional employees arrived at the agreed upon time. The owner joined them later in the morning and helped them finish up. They spent about 7 hours completing the job, which was the estimated amount of time we were advised it would take. They did a nice job of cleaning up the work area before leaving for the day. There was no mess left behind. We also had a friend who had used Midland Concrete Leveling to mudjack their driveway and they were also pleased with the work and price."

"Jim and the team were one of the only companies who actually showed up to bid, got back to use quickly and subsequently came to do the work. We had them repoint a number of areas around our home as well as sure up the footing on our brick entryway which was the main point of concern. While here they noticed the concrete cap on our chimney needed replacing and we went ahead and had them do that too. 90% of the work performed has been great, but we are 12 months on now from the initial work and the entryway continues to shift and overall break the repointing work Jim's team did. To their credit, they've been back out twice to repoint again, the first time after 6 weeks when it broke, then the work lasted about 4 months until it broke again. They didn't come back out again until several months after that and this last repair unfortunately didn't last more than a week. The repointing itself was great, it matched the color of grout on our historic home fairly well. The issue and reason for the lower star rating is that unfortunately whatever foundation work may have been done by the team did not resolve the foundation problems the entryway has and we are back on the hunt for a new company who can actually help us fix our problem."

"Person arrived very much later than expected and I didn't feel respected by him. Was told the weather needed to be warmer for the repair to be done. Understandable as it was extremely cold. Also said I needed a cover on the bricks at the top of the chimney walls. However I don't know that I will have them come do the work as I didn't get a very good "feeling" about the person giving the estimate. Also, $500. seemed a bit steep. I haven't had the work done yet, so am still debating whether to have this company do the actual work."
