"We were extremely pleased with them.  The estimate was very upfront - John quoted the price for the chimney replacement and additional costs we might incur depending on what they found inside.  All very reasonable.  When we got the estimate they said they would be out within two weeks, but it might be sooner if they had time at the end of another job (since ours would be a quick job).  We indicated that would be fine.  A few days later John called in the afternoon and asked if it would be okay to come out that day, and they arrived about an hour later.  We selected the brick right then and were very pleased with the selection.  They found the best access point to the roof that woudn't damage our flower gardens, and put carpetting on the roof to protect the shingles.  They had the old one torn down and the new one up very quickly.  They also checked the chimney for condensation (found none) and checked the chimney in the basement for other evidence of leakage or condensation (found none).   We were very pleased to see them use the extra mortar left over from the chimney to patch cracks between the foundation blocks of our front porch (they did this on their own, we didn't have to ask them to do it).  Their workers were polite and professional, and they tore down and put up the new chimney in less than 2 hours.  I paid them the same day (the price was exactly as quoted), even though they told me they needed to let the mortar set up until the next day before they could attach the flashing around the chimney.  They returned the next day at 9 AM and finished the job.  We were very impressed.  We found them on Angie's List and called them based on their other good recommendations."

"I was out of town when the work was done. Once I got home, it looked like only the caulking had been done because the two sections were still lower than the rest of the driveway. Eric stopped by and let me know that when they tried leveling, the adjacent concrete slab started to raise, so they had to stop. I didn't know that this was even a possibility, so I was disappointed. There were a few spots where the caulking didn't completely cover the seam. I expressed my concern and Eric came back to fix these problem areas. Eric was very patient with me as I was having health issues and was not very responsive to his voicemails. He remained pleasant and professional, which I greatly appreciated. I would hire them again if needed, and would recommend."

"Besides Dr Sweep, we have also asked two other companies to come and inspect our chimney. All three groups gave different comments. "Trace from Ark came out to look at the job in the fall and give us a quote. He recommended that we might want to hire a structural engineer independently to make certain he was getting it right. We did, and everything aligned with what he saw. He also drilled and found a void in the fill under the garage, so he had us get a concrete lifting company to come out and fill it in first to make sure their anchors would hold properly. That happened in April, and then Ark came on May 4th to put anchors in. It only took a day and a half, and it was easy, efficient, and smooth. There was no hard sell, they took their time making sure they covered all bases, and their quote came in about half of the other major companies who came out to look at the job. Would definitely recommend."

"The inspection was thorough, and very professional, although expensive. I don't think the technicians knew exactly WHY I had leaking into the house's ceiling, but sealed some cracks along the concrete cap and installed new chimney caps. I had to get another company out to do the repairs for the leaking."
