"We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk?s Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. * John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had ?conferred? with John Kulk and repeated the same question, ?perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??? * During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can?t find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk?s employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We cannot recommend this business. BUYER BEWARE."

"I was recommended to call Rinaldi Plumbing when a plumber I had engaged was injured and unable to undertake the project. We needed a new vanity cabinet installed, re-using the old faucet, and a new shower unit installed in a claw-foot tub. I called Joe Rinaldi who was both courteous and businesslike. We were able to arrive at an estimated fee for the job by exchanging marked up photos. Joe arranged to carry out the work at very short notice, arrived promptly and got the job done efficiently and professionally. "August 26 called JSP out to check on my xtrol pressure water tank because it was making a clicking noise that was coming from the power switch. Came out same day said the bladder ruptured would need a new tank. I agreed because the tank was 12 years old. Installed was a flex lite tank which he said was better. I'm a senior and a widow took his word for it. I paid $2172.66. It was not itemized. He gave me a $50 discount. He told me I would get water bursts for a while coming from faucets. Well he was right, however I lost pressure in my kitchen and bathroom faucets and the toilet was rumbling when filling and flushed. I called them out to check. He did not go under the sinks to clear the lines, instead he said it must be your faucets. He quoted me a price of $1303.48 for kitchen faucet if they picked it out fully installed or $756 if I bought the faucet myself. 3 strikes your out. Didnt fix problem. Found out I was over charged for flex tank $1200 instead."
