"Last year Northland Fence installed a tan vinyl privacy fence for my 1 acre lot, replacing a rotted cedar fence that was falling down. I was really impressed by the post design as a means to anchor the fencing without future rotting issues, and it saved lots of installation time versus the older cement process. This was a huge fence, and they completed in two days of work, and the fence looks great! Fast forward one year later and strong winds this year have knocked over 6 x 30-foot trees from my neighbor's yard into my yard, damaging the fence in multiple places, bending posts and breaking side panels. Tim came by to perform the repair last week and the fence is completely restored to previous condition in about 2-3 hours of work. You could not tell that so much damage had occurred except for some cleaning that I need to do. While onsite, Tim also addressed some sag in installed fence doors with very well-built diagonal braces and adjusted the doors to being square. He was polite, professional, and delivered great results - represents the Northland Fence brand well. Strongly endorse the fence solutions from Northland. "Dan came out within 5 days from first contact and provided an initial bid, he walked through my needs and issues with the current fence and gave some good recommendations on the project approach and repairs. There were 2 other bids on this project and Dan was not only competitive in his pricing he was significantly lower than one of the bids (they stated their schedule and how small the work was attributed to the inflated cost but they bid on the EXACT SAME scope and material). Topline was able to come out within 2 weeks of the initial bid as they accommodated the work in between larger projects (thank you Dan!). The work was wonderfully performed. The fence was exceptionally well installed, is extremely sturdy and straight, and when there was an initial problem with some boards they went above and beyond sending multiple people out to have it resolved. In fact, even a year later, when I had a driveway problem causing the gate to not open (NOT an issue with the gate), they sent someone out to saw the bottom boards and re-hang the gate at no cost. "Curt is the most economically priced of all the players out there in MN for in-ground fence repair. <br /> He charged $120, which included the repair, travel, and any materials needed for the repair.   <br /> One of his largest competitors (a bigger player in the industry) wanted $2.50 per foot for the wire, and since my driveway was 30 feet wide, we would have paid an extra $75 just for the wire alone (on top of the service fee/labor... . <br /> He accommodated my schedule and came on a Sunday.  He came with his son.  Both were super polite, kind, friendly, and hard-working.  They were timely and charged me exactly what he said he would charge me - $120 even.  There was no nickel and diming and no trying to upsell or upcharge anything. <br /> I was beyond impressed!  For this reason, I take the time out of my crazy schedule to give thanks and to spread the word - if you need your in-ground fence repair done - I HIGHLY recommend Curt. <br /> <br />"

"Midwest Fence was great. I contacted three fence companies that were highly rated on Angie's list. One never responded. One gave me a quick quote over the phone sight/site unseen and said his guy would contact me. No subsequent contact. On the other hand, Midwest Fence's salesperson called me back the same day, He came out, looked at what we wanted, discussed options, and gave me a quote lower than the other. Since it was November, I was told work probably could not begin until spring. To our joy, the fence was installed during a warm spell in December. It looks great. The crews were professional and pleasant. Two weeks later when I called about an adjustment I needed, a crew appeared the next day and made the adjustment."
