"I called Pleasant Valley Plumber with some concerns about a leak from my water heater.  It was not an emergency call but he offered to come out the same day.  When he arrived, he replaced the leaking pipe but due to the corrosion he explained that it may continue to leak slightly and I may want to consider replacing the water heater because the repair would affect internal parts that could possibly result in the water heater not working.  He thoroughly explained what was necessary and how the acid in my water was responsible for the corrosion on the pipes.  He also pointed out that the water connection to the water heater was not up to code, even though I had purchased this 30 year old home within the past 2 years and it had been inspected.  There was no pressure to replace the water heater, but I chose to replace it anyway.  We worked out a convenient day and time for him to return to replace the water heater and he promptly returned with the new water heater at the agreed upon date.  He called before coming to do the work and again arrived promptly.  My water heater was replaced and the old one was taken away all for the quoted price, with no additional charges.  Everything was left neat and clean and the work was done quickly.  He also answered many of my other plumbing questions and concerns very professionally without trying to sell me anything.  It was a wonderful experience!"
