"I hired a plumber through HomeAdvisor using prepay but I would not recommend this service. The contractor left a leaky pipe that caused water coming up through carpet. I had to purchase a wet vacuum to dry out the carpet. I had to contact HomeAdvisor again and hired Dave the Plumber, LLC who had to redo the installation done previously. Dave the Plumber replaced all the piping and outside spigot because of a water leak the previous contractor left. Thank you Dave the Plumber for being a professional and a job well done."

"We called on Wednesday after we noticed standing water on the lawn near the pipe. Someone came out that evening to do a spot check and confirmed our fear that it was a well leak. They apologized for not being able to come out until Friday (not a problem for us; we had no issues with the water supply into the house). Mike and Brad were out Friday morning, dug out the broken pipe, recommended replacing the pipe back to the well itself, just to be safe, and replacing the adapter at the well. Went ahead with their recommendation.  They finished the job, rough graded the area, squirted down the driveway where mud had built up and were done within 3 hours. Nice people to deal with. <br />"

"Dan arrived and was very professional and friendly. He immediately discovered that my filter was clean and asked if it was replaced before or after I noticed problems...good attention to detail. I had replaced it after I noticed problems because it was very dirty, but also after a family friend came to look at the unit to see if it had any electrical issues. After Dan checked the furnace inside and found nothing wrong, he checked the unit outside and immediately found that my disconnect breaker was pulled out and hidden inside of the unit. The family friend left it out, so the unit wasn't going to kick on. After he got the unit running, he checked the freon levels which were fine, and he said everything looks to be good. The system was producing cool air once again...turns out it was just the filter, only I hadn't replaced it until after the system was messed with, so I couldn't tell that it was an effective fix.
