Not only did he install our 2 Skylights perfectly, he noticed the prior roof contractor didn’t install the Ridge cap correctly, so he removed corrected that. He also fixed our Stand & Seam roof that a tree had fell on, coated with 100% Silicone on that, our Carport, and Lanai roofs after power washing them. He did a great job, at a great price! I highly recommend this young man for all your roofing needs!"

"My apologies to the company...I don't recall the gentleman's name that responded but he was very friendly and professional, and provided some good education on roof repair for me while performing the work. As a result of recent thunderstorms a 4-foot section of roof raised up, due to nails failing to hold. The gentleman who came over said that shouldn't have happened but was successfully able to both restore the roof and add additional reinforcement to that area. He also walked around on the rest of the roof and made a few additional minor repairs/reinforcements. Admittedly, the cost was a bit much for about 1 hour worth of work, but reading online that isn't abnormal. It did influence me to look into a home warranty to cover future similar incidents. I will definitely consider this company for future work though."

"Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"

"They installed solar panels as per contract. They were on time and removed all material when done. I had roof damage from a storm and they repaired it at no extra cost. So far I am happy with this company and plan on using them again for house repair.
