"We were splitting the cost with one adjoining neighbor. This seemed to be a challenge for our very young sales rep. After contacting them early in the summer to get a bid it took until early fall before we could get the fence built due to poor communications with the company and neighbors. In the end we were very pleased with the job. I would recommend this company but be prepared to do the follow up calling yourself. Also be present while fence is being installed. We almost had a gate joining our back neighbors. They are ok but we did not want or ask for gate there. Love the final project and are considering another fence project using Precision. <br />"

"Julio Barletta and company installed our fence in September 1995. Yes, I know this review is kind of late :). I just wanted to add my two cents worth. Twenty four years of hot, baking summer sun; pouring down rain; wind storms; hail storms; and everything else North Central Texas weather can throw at it, this fence still looks brand new. The backyard is on a 15 degree incline. The fence is 8 ft. level top, board on board, clear cedar. Over the courser of time, the fence has been power washed and re-stained 3 times. In Texas, if you don't maintain your fence, you are asking for disaster. People are astounded when I tell them how old it is. Most think I must be mistaken. I tell them when it was installed and then tell them to do the math. Again, I just wanted to add my voice and reaffirm what other reviewers have said. Barletta fences are the gold standard."

"Greg and his employee installed the fence very quickly. We discussed the design of it, and Greg got our final approval before any holes were drilled. He was able to install the fence within a week of coming to our home and educating us about Protect-A-Child pool fences. We chose this company because of the features of their particular fence and because it has an established A+ rating with the BBB. I also called two references that Greg provided, and they were happy with their fences and the service. Greg offers aluminum or fiberglass poles. We especially liked the latches that connect the pool fence sections together, as they are harder for a child to figure out than others that are out there. We also liked that the poles lock into their deck sleeves and do not require tools to unlock. Other companies either do not have this feature or require tools to remove the poles. I feel that the fence is user-friendly for adults but cannot be compromised by a child (of course always supervise and do not let children drag patio furniture close to a fence)! I am a slightly paranoid first-time mom and did my research and compared a lot of fences! The price was also good, and came in cheaper than another quote that I got for a fence that I feel was not as good. I highly recommend Greg and Protect-A-Child!"

"It was a pleasure to do business with Arrow Fence and Deck (Robert Fancher).  He was reliable, prompt, eficient and professional.  The 3 fence sections he rebuilt slat by slat were beautifully done and he removed all debris to leave my lawn in the same condition as when he arrived.  I think the charge was fair considering the amount of work he performed and the quality of it.  I will definitely contact him in the future for any necessary fence work.  It was encouraging to find someone dependable, who did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, for the price quoted."

"One of our fence posts broke during a high windy day. Based on my past experience, I called one of the fence repair service but found out that they are out of business. I was hesitant to call up other fence repair companies again because based on my past experience most of them are highly unprofessional. They either do not return calls or will give an astronomical quote. But the job needed to get done and I had no option. One of the popular repair company in my neighborhood received an F rating from me due to their unprofessional behavior. So I skipped them and called Wes at Alligator Fence & Repair. What a guy!  <br /> <br /> During our call I explained the work that needed to be done - one post replacement and gate repair. He quoted a very reasonable price of just $90 with a metal post (my previous repair guy charged $125 for wooden post). Gate repair was estimated at $125. He said he would come out and give an estimate. Repair work would be done later based on our schedule. He arrived on the scheduled date to give an estimate. My wife asked to check other posts and we found two more posts that needed to be replaced. Wes did not try to upcharge or upsell anything we didn't need. He was courteous and honest and provided an accurate quote for the work. He emailed me the quote and even offered a discount (Angies List members 5%) on his already reasonable prices. My neighbor wanted to get some other work done on his fence. Wes even offered him the same discount.  <br /> <br /> We exchanged few messages and calls and were able to work out a day for the work. He showed up in freezing cold on-time. We were worried how he would be able to work through the frigid temperature. Of course, we were wrong. Not only did he finish everything on time, he did a fantastic job on the repairs as well. <br /> We were lucky that we found Wes and Alligator Fence & Repair. The only sad thing about the whole experience is I didn't find him sooner. Wes does a great job, at reasonable prices with excellent communication throughout.  I highly recommend Alligator Fence & Repair and Wes for all fence work. <br /> <br /> Updated: Classified the discount as Angies List 5% discount. "<p>All was fantastic from the bid process to the completion of the project.  The fence was power washed, allowed to dry for two days, followed by the staining.  They were receptive to take caution of emerging plants, existing landscape, as well to protect surrounding property of overspray.  One section of the drive had a few drops of stain which Aaron returned promptly the following day to remove and made it look like new.  Aaron is prompt, professional, courteous and thorough. "Kevin was always punctual and professional; he has a lot of experience building sheds in many areas of the metroplex. He proved himself to be very knowledgeable and clearly & patiently laid out all of our shed options and the price differences for each. Ultimately, we ended up doing an addition to our house instead - I only wish that contractor had been as professional as Kevin! Anyway, we would not hesitate to contact Kevin if we need a shed in the future. We drove over and viewed a shed he built (reference he provided), which looked amazing."
