"Great work. They cane out right away for the estimate and got the job done quickly. Cleaned up site, couldn’t even tell they were in my yard except for the nice retaining wall. Would definitely recommend."

"They charge $40 for the mowing. We just moved here and we've used them twice already. He's a very congenial man. He just hurt his back so he sent somebody out to do the work for him, which was good. Their price is within reason compared to other people."

"They came in when we were hoping that they would come in which was good. They drilled through the foundation very quickly and quite faster than what we were expecting them to. They were done very quickly. It was clean when they were gone. They took off and it was great. Our experience with them was fine. The quality of their work was fine. They were very responsive."

"In retrospect I am quite happy that I took the path I did as there were several unexpected developments and/or requirements that I had asked for that were "unexecutable" during the course of construction that we were able to fix on the fly. I was very happy with Scott's attention to detail during the course of construction and his quality of work far surpassed most other residential contractors I have dealt with. One of the first challenges was trying to get a permit to do the work. It turned out that the property I purchased had a barn on it that had never had a permit issued for its construction. (Not disclosed in the seller disclosure). As a result the issuance of a permit was delayed a bit until we reached an agreement with the county that we would retroactively get a permit for the structure and do any required fixes that a structural engineer determined were necessary. I ended up having to get Scott to do some additional concrete work on the barn foundations to make the county happy and hired a separate contractor to do some of the wood structural work to keep Scott focused on getting the house completed on time. I am a retired engineer with some experience in doing construction projects. Scott would be the first to tell you that I am a somewhat uncompromising taskmaster and I really appreciated the fact that Scott would push back based on his extensive experience in what works in home construction. We made several adjustments to the layout of the home as we went along and we had a good give and take on what I was adding vs items that were abandoned for a credit and the overall cost impact. The only issue I had with our project centered on critical path planning. For those not familiar with large projects this is the planning that determines what work that needs to be done today (eg: material ordering) to ensure that the work we are going to be doing in the next several weeks goes smoothly. This improved as we got through the project and at the end we ended up getting it done in the agreed time frame (excluding the delay in getting the permit at the outset of the project). I would certainly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a quality contractor to do either a renovation or construction project."

"My report is second hand in part, since I was not there during the time MJW met the Property Manager on the property; together they walked the fence line. MJW reported the fence was not quality built. Property Management noted that MJW did not check the post depth to determine if the post were in the ground the standard 2 feet or a minimum depth of 18inches. The bad news came later that 21 out of 60 of the post holes were barely deep enough to meet basic standards, the ground shook when you gently pushed on the post. Other factors were made know by the orginal contractor's hired help, this did not come to light until after MJW's inspection. I called MJW to explain that I needed to speak with an attorney, to find out if I am obligated to pay draws when the fence is being shoddily constructed; upon learning about this MJW decline working on the fence if I was hiring an attorney, at which time he did not want to get involved, but o\if I needed him on any other jobs please call; his decline was accepted. <br /> MJW did report that the fence was NOT quality built but that it was OK and needed a third railing to prevent the boards from bowing. He sumitted a bid to add a third railing and wanted to know what type of fence was ordered of which I reported only quality pointing out the house was custom built with landscaping maintained by a local high quality Landscaping company who maintains cutting, watering and fertilizing the yards. The property manager did the walk with MJW to get a professional inspection of the fence and place a bid to tear down what was not quality built and rebuild any part of the fence that failed inspection. MJW reported it was not a quality built fence. <br /> After MJW's inspection, the original contractor's hired help called and reported 21 post were not dug deep enough to hold the post steady thereby creating a liability of safety to the tenants. I mention to MJW, that I talked to an attorney and he did not want to get involved if I hired an attorney, this ended our contacts with him. <br />"
