"The bathroom turned out better than I imagined! Excellent attention to detail and timely completion. Super guy to work with. Would highly recommend! We continued to use Strait Line Builders to finish extra detail in the bathroom. Once again his skill and ideas were spot on. Will continue with Jeff til this old house is finished!"

"This was a painting of our entire exterior of the house. Josh and his crew could not have been more thorough from the beginning to the completion of the project. He came out for a bid and was so detailed for what the job entailed. The bid was very fair. They completed the job in a timely manner. They did not miss a single detail. This is an extremely competent paint job. We could not be happier with it!"

"Words can't express how happy we have been with our decision to go with Trickett Woodworks to build and install the cabinets in our custom kitchen. Geoff and Brian have been exceptional! Their communication before and during the project was always great. We had to delay the selection of our cabinet maker due to COVID, and Geoff was the only person that had regular check-ins with us during this time, none of the companies reached out to us at all. Trickett's workmanship is top notch. We asked for a very custom design that followed the contour of our cathedral ceiling which is not common. Geoff worked with us to come up with ideas on how best to accomplish the look we were going for and it turned out amazing. Geoff and Brian also went the extra mile when our countertop installers damaged several drawers and doors. Geoff made sure everything got fixed and that we were taken care of. I can't understate how happy we are with our cabinets and our experience with Trickett. We'll definitely be using them for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone."

"Dan came in and gave us a quote. I called to schedule. At the appointed time, Bob came over and took out the cabinet doors to go to the shop for lacquer, then he began cleaning and priming. bob was careful to make sure that he had the door numbered, including the hardware, so that it could be put back together. I bought some hinges to match our appliances, but they didn't quite fit and John took my old hinges and painted them the color that I needed. Throughout they were on time, professional and worked very cleanly. These guys are VERY VERY good. Came in on time and on budget. Great experience. <br />"

"In retrospect I am quite happy that I took the path I did as there were several unexpected developments and/or requirements that I had asked for that were "unexecutable" during the course of construction that we were able to fix on the fly. I was very happy with Scott's attention to detail during the course of construction and his quality of work far surpassed most other residential contractors I have dealt with. One of the first challenges was trying to get a permit to do the work. It turned out that the property I purchased had a barn on it that had never had a permit issued for its construction. (Not disclosed in the seller disclosure). As a result the issuance of a permit was delayed a bit until we reached an agreement with the county that we would retroactively get a permit for the structure and do any required fixes that a structural engineer determined were necessary. I ended up having to get Scott to do some additional concrete work on the barn foundations to make the county happy and hired a separate contractor to do some of the wood structural work to keep Scott focused on getting the house completed on time. I am a retired engineer with some experience in doing construction projects. Scott would be the first to tell you that I am a somewhat uncompromising taskmaster and I really appreciated the fact that Scott would push back based on his extensive experience in what works in home construction. We made several adjustments to the layout of the home as we went along and we had a good give and take on what I was adding vs items that were abandoned for a credit and the overall cost impact. The only issue I had with our project centered on critical path planning. For those not familiar with large projects this is the planning that determines what work that needs to be done today (eg: material ordering) to ensure that the work we are going to be doing in the next several weeks goes smoothly. This improved as we got through the project and at the end we ended up getting it done in the agreed time frame (excluding the delay in getting the permit at the outset of the project). I would certainly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a quality contractor to do either a renovation or construction project."

"We got a quote and design plan from the company for our remodel, but our personal tastes didn't match so we used a different company instead."

"Steve was incredible! He is a perfectionist, which is exactly what you want when someone is placing cedar siding shingles - his lines and corners are perfect. Steve worked a consistent schedule, and always called when there was going to be a deviation. He finished on time, at super reasonable prices. He was incredibly responsive to phone calls and questions. <br /> I have seen Steve's home, and was blown away by his craftsmanship, particularly in the find woodwork that he has done. He would definitely be someone you would want for beautiful finish work such as cabinets or bathrooms. But he can do everything. He is also skilled in working with salvage material, he has an artistic eye. <br /> I highly recommend Steve for any job. <br /> <br />"
