"The wait for installation was long and when scheduled, they called to "reschedule" due to the installer. Apparently they use outside contractors to install. When they showed up, they worked hard but one installer left for over 2 hours, leaving on one to work. They did not want to quit and come back (found out they get paid by the job and couldn't pick up a new job until ours was finished. They left the house at 10:05 PM. The salesman put the wrong transitions in the order despite numerous conversations. They also installed the shoe molding around our kitchen island wrong. I went to store in Pearland the next day. My salesman had been transferred and I met with the District Manager. It took over a week to get anyone back out to fix and then they brought the wrong transitions again. I called the District Manager and complained. She told me they weren't there to fix the island until I asked her to check the paperwork and she admitted it was on the work order. After numerous phone calls, the installers went to Home Depot and came back with something that would work. They were nice and got it fixed. The carpet was scheduled later and when they showed up, they pulled the old pile carpet and told me that the defects in the staircase would show up if they installed the berber carpet. I asked why the salesman didn't discuss that with me. He said the salesmen don't install. They suggested I fix the staircase, repaint it and call them back. I got it fixed and called the store. The District Manager told me it would be 3 weeks before they could come back even though the installer said it would take less than 2 hours to install it. I have called back and asked to improve the installation. They said they send an email to installation but I am still waiting a week later. I am calling the COO in Houston tomorrow. The first 2 times I used Floors for Living, they were privately owned but have been purchased by another company. The entire process was much different and less congenial. I won't ever use them again and caution anyone thinking about it to check multiple review sources."

We replaced 2200 sq.ft hardwood floors, using their expert, detailed, hardworking team of installers, who were neat, clean, & friendly. They never pushed us to make a decision and were responsive to our questions and concerns. We can’t imagine going anywhere else, and they weren’t the cheapest quote we got! "Waste of money, very unprofessional. Marlen dropped off two women who spoke zero English and left them to clean without her. I was unable to ask them any questions and Marlen told me to text her and she would communicate with them. I was willing to provide the cleaning products but was told it's part of their price, ok. I was told the cleaning products provided were supposed to be soap, bleach, pine Sol, and Windex. No furniture cleaner, no granite cleaner, don't love it but ok. They mopped the floor with water and didn't even move the dog bowl to mop. No Pine sol or bleach was used. When Marlene came to pick up the girls I confronted her about the lack of cleaning supplies (leather & granite) and she said she doesn't supply them. I pointed these out during the walk through and she said it wouldn't be a problem. They didn't do the baseboards or the ceiling fans and was told baseboards are extra. If you're looking for an honest housekeeper look elsewhere, I sure will be."

"This is a very bad place to do business. Yes they give free estimates that are outrageous and they are very intimidating and high pressure. They have pictures of other places and try to to tell you it yours. They do a very poor job. Cant even clean a dryer vent properly. Never again. i will find a better place. try stanley steemer."

"I discovered petpee.com when I was searching online for ways to remove the urine odor from our 10’ x 14’ Karastan wool oriental rug. I had planned to clean the rug myself, but I was intrigued by the videos I saw on YouTube of petpee.com’s owner, Meir Martin, demonstrating how he cleans rugs like mine. I searched for petpee.com reviews and was blown away by the number of glowing reviews that had been written by satisfied customers. I knew then and there that I wanted to turn my rug over rug to Mr. Martin to finally get rid of the urine odor that had been building up for over 10 years. I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me. After getting over the sticker shock, my husband gave me the green light to send the rug to petpeepee.com. I think he was more interested in getting rid of my constant complaints about the urine odor than the actual odor itself! Mr. Martin walked us through how to pack up our rug for shipping via UPS, having us send him pictures to make sure we had prepared it properly. Even though we followed his instructions, I received an email from UPS 5 days later that my rug had been lost. I was regretting my decision to send my rug off for cleaning, UNTIL Mr. Martin worked his magic! I’m only the second customer in all the years petpeepee.com has been in business to have her oriental rug go missing, but that was to my benefit, because Mr. Meir knew exactly who to call (in Utah, of all places!) to track down my rug. Mr. Martin called his contact at UPS every day to check on whether my rug had been found and kept me posted each day for a week. On the seventh day after UPS reported my rug had been lost, Mr. Martin called me with the happy news that my rug had been found!!! Apparently some of the tape I had used to secure the label to the package was not completely flat and caused the label and bag to tear. Mr. Martin received my rug via Next Day Air from UPS on August 23 and began the cleaning process the next day. I loved receiving videos and pictures of the rug being cleaned and getting updates from Mr. Martin throughout the process. (You can see my rug being cleaned on YouTube by searching “Removing urine odor from a supersize Karastan rug.”). We received the rug back on September 2, and it smelled as fresh as it did the day we bought it! It looked so clean and new – worth every penny we paid to have petpeepee.com clean it. I really need more than five stars for my recommendation of petpeepee.com and Meir Martin. He is a true professional and the best communicator of any service provider I’ve ever encountered. I will be sending him more rugs soon! When I do, I will be VERY careful about packaging them, including using a HEAVY DUTY bag and taping multiple labels on the inside and outside of the package and making sure EVERYTHING on the outside is smooth and flat. "We scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. After job was done, the carpet reeked of dirty water and patch was not done correctly. I called the office & asked them to send a supervisor over to see the job that was done & to smell the odor but they only sent a technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. They offered to refund us. $50. Mind you. We used this company for 9 years and this is how they treated us. They can keep their $50."
