We've worked with other contractors in the past. For our deck project, which involved replacing the decking, building new rails, and fixing several structural issues, we got five bids from recommended or highly rated companies. We ultimately went with Martin Building Enterprize and could not be happier. Working with them was on all accounts an excellent choice and we will call them again for future projects. Terence, the owner, was remarkably transparent about every aspect of the project: cost of materials, cost of labor, when hiccups happened (as they inevitably do in construction work) he was precise about when and how things would be handled and at what cost. Their bid on the project was competitive or slightly under other companies. The quality of the craftmenship was excellent. Kyle, the primary person overseeing our project, did a great job and found fixes to several unforeseen issues. We now have a beautiful composite deck that looks like new, which is sturdier, safer, and more useful to our family. An altogether excellent service experience."
