"The Simmons crew did a great job with installing new closet storage cabinets within our two en-suite walk in closets. The team arrived at the agreed upon time and immediately set to work on the installation. They laid out protective coverings on the floor to prevent damage. When issues appeared during the installation, they immediately conferred with me to resolve the issue. The installation went smoothly and the closets look great. They did a good job in cleaning up at the conclusion of the work and ensured all excess materials were removed from the site. Demetrius is great to work with, as he is very customer service oriented. "Everything was simply unforgettable! I responded to an ad for Black Friday Special: name your price for the job with no reasonable offer refused! I emailed the company letting them know I wanted some rotten wood replaced on the window dormer and a ceiling repaired and painted. Mike said he would trust what and wanted and the price of $400.00. The carpenter and the painter arrived early. Mike arrived shortly and went over what needed to be done. I had purchased treated lumber so Mike purchased with receipt the correct wood. The carpenter quickly saw that more rotten wood had to be replaced than anticipated. The carpenter had to do wood cutting to frame and restore the dormer as well as insulate, caulk and prime the untreated wood. Needless to say, the handyman special turned out to be a skillful carpentry job. Mike, nevertheless kept the price at $400.00, which also included the plaster repair for the ceiling as well as painting the entire ceiling. I had been told in the past by two contractors that the ceiling job was complicated. Mike and his painter made the job uncomplicated and the result was simply great!"

"Mr. Vasquez and I had an e-mail exchange to set up an appointment, but the loop was never closed.
I called the day of the service to see if they were coming, and was informed he did not have anyone working. Fortunately, when I told him of our e-mail exchange, he was able to find someone to perform the work.
He arrived within an hour of the originally requested time.
He actually removed more caulk than I realized was damaged, and neatly replaced it.
Also recommended how I could patch the one or two small places where the grout is thinning, as well as having all of the grout redone in about a year.
Overall I was pleased with the level and quality of service.

"I want to first start off by saying that my bathroom looks amazing!!!  I contacted John because they advertised a big deal.  There was work that the deal covered that I didn't really need.  John came out and listened to what I wanted done, the budget I had to work with, and came to agreement on the services to be provided.  I had talked to two other contractors but John listened to what I wanted and worked with me and my budget.  It was a 12 working day job.  The crew is friendly and professional.  They covered my hardwood floors from the front door, up the stairs, to the entry of the bathroom.  They took care to cleanup at the end of the day. They made sure I was satisfied with the job..
All the white 4x4 tile was removed (floor and tub surround) including the white tile base molding.  The toilet was removed and set aside (I did not need the toilet replaced).  The sub-flooring under the toilet was water damaged due to a leak i was not aware of.  They replaced the sub-flooring and a section of pipe for the toilet.  They were able to fix the leak that caused the damage.  The tub and tub fixtures (faucet, handle,shower head) were replaced.  There was a slight mishap with the tub but they replaced it without any problems.  As I requested, a niche was built into the wall  for shampoo and liquid soap bottles.  The tile was installed to ceiling as requested and the floor and wall tile was installed so cleanly.  It did not have the grout caking that was previously very apparent in the builder installed tile.  New sink faucets (supplied by me) were installed and the cabinets stained a darker color.  The painter who preformed the staining and painted the bathroom and trim does amazing work.  When he started the painting of the walls he had me come in to make sure I was satisfied with the color.  When he stained the cabinets, he tweaked the color until I was happy with the stain.  The mix he came up with make my cabinets look new and rich.
I wish I could remember all their names so I could give them individual shout outs but unfortunately this is a shortcoming of mine.  I am terrible with names.  Suffice it  to say, they are an amazing crew and it was a pleasure to have them do this job.
I hope to do the master bath next year and I will be calling John Krause Construction for that job and my future kitchen make over."
