I wish all home improvement businesses had his work ethic. We are already planning on asking him to come and paint a few interior spaces in the future. "George has provided handyman services at my home in the past. Early 2021, I hired Ocean State Property Services to do a kitchen renovation. It did not go as planned due to supply chain disruption and freight carrier delays that resulted in my cabinets arriving damaged from the manufacturer, this did not sit well with OSPS and they quit the job early. George and his team did a great job with the demolition, plumbing and industry connections (i.e. flooring, countertops, plastering). The downside was inefficient communication and negative attitude stemming from the contractor's frustration. In the end, George did not complete the job but left on amicable terms. I would hire George again for another job that had "less moving parts" to it. PS His helpers are fantastic!"

"Hired Dennis Moffitt Painting to paint and repair house exterior with an initial quote of $3,000. They charged the full amount upfront instead of the agreed 20% deposit. The scope and cost of carpentry work escalated unexpectedly, I approved an additional $5000 in carpentry repairs. Zero communication until they stop work and tell me it's $17,000, so far. Months have gone by, I have never received accurate invoices or a breakdown of costs. The last one claims to have done work that they obviously didn't do. The contractor left a big piece of equipment on my property and has gone radio silent. This experience has been fraught with miscommunication, overcharging, and unprofessionalism. I would not hire this firm again."
