"We had a complete front entry remodel done. The project involved tearing out old front stairs and building a new entryway with awning. The project came out beautifully!! Even better than I had imagined. Jeff and his team were great to work with and very talented. We really could not be any happier with the results."

"Mr. Hirons helped us tackle a complete second story gut and remodel. Floors, walls, everything came out. With a pregnant wife an the clock ticking, everything was completed ahead of time and on budget. You have never seen any contractor with a better mind for organization and cleanliness; heck, the place was cleaner while under construction than on a normal day. In the end, my wife's stress level was zero, the family is still growing, and everything looks great."

"Colonial Restorations was superb. Our family very much enjoyed working with Brad Green and Tom Green.
At the outset, they made thorough assessments of our family's barn, identifying several problem areas and offering multiple proposals for how best to address each (including strategies and estimates). They walked through the different proposals with us, addressing all questions and discussing different options. This was extremely constructive and important to the process.
They demonstrated very clear understanding of post-and-beam wood construction. They displayed great expertise in working with wood (white oak, red oak, hemlock) and with the tools, jacks and cribbing needed for this work. They worked carefully, always putting in place the necessary jacks and cribbing in advance of each phase of this project.
They were clear about their schedule and were very responsible about communicating with us. If there were a day that they would not be on site, they let us know ahead of time. With the exception of a snow storm and an illness, they were on site five days a week from the first week in January till the second week in February, 2016.
By the completion of this project, Colonial Restorations had made significant and important structural repairs to our barn. This work was done with care, craft, accuracy, and to code. (All elements of this project were examined and passed by the building inspector.) Most important, these repairs respected and worked with the existing structure and materials of the barn.
We could not be happier with these repairs or with the work done by Colonial Restorations. It was a pleasure working with Brad and Tom."

"They actually hung some paintings for us because we have like a two-story wall. We live in a raised ranch, so there?s a big wall that goes from the ground level up to the ceiling of the first floor, along the stairwell, and I wanted a painting hung up at the top of that wall. And so I called Tom and said well who do you know that can do this and he said well we do that. I said okay. So he sent a couple of guys out, not only did they hang the painting, they re-hung paintings that were kind of crooked. They just took care of hanging things that required going up a ladder, like a two floor ladder, a two-story ladder. What they did was up a scaffolding and just did it that way, which is not something that a homeowner can do. I just keep going back to LOPCO for everything.

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"Roland was professional and successfully installed the wrought iron railing inside our front door area. He reviewed various installation options with safety being a key component so the railing would be strongly anchored to the wall. He did not waste time and cleaned up thoroughly after. Would DEFINITELY use Roland again and highly recommend him."
