"We had a hot water tank that was leaking slowly. It was not an emergency but needed to be replaced before going on vacation in a week. Jack the owner and his associate are very professional, reliable, knowledgeable, honest Christian and very reasonable and fair. They got it done. I highly recommend Moretto Plumbing and Design. He even called the next day to make sure everything was good. You will not be disappointed."

"They were not prompt. We scheduled an appointment and he showed up a day and 2 hours early. Luckily I was here, so they came and did the job. We just had a personality conflict. I'm sure that his work was just fine but he didn't actually attach it into the hole. He was very expensive. I have had plumbing issues since and I had used a different plumber and I will continue to use them but will never use Royal Flush again."

"We call them once a year to make sure that everything's fine, but we don't have a contract. The check up was very thorough and we were very pleased, is around $150. We had him 3 years now. We like them very much. I don't think their price was out of line. It's a general maintenance to make sure that you don't have a breakdown on the hottest day of the year or the coldest day of the winter. I mean, it's just smart to take good care of things. One person comes out to do the service. I'm sure they would send more if there was a problem, but this is just a check up."

"The A to Z plumber, Dustin, arrived on time. He was clean and more importantly was very courteous and respectful. He said he would look at our plumbing in spite of a foot of raw sewage under our home. The previous company refused to go under the house on two occasions because it was too wet. With a sewer leak was it ever going to be dry? Dustin was fearless! <br /> <br /> After a complete inspection of all of our plumbing in and o ut of the house, Dustin determined that our previous company had left both our kitchen and bathroom sewer pipes unconnected, and a total of 17 pipe joints were unprimed and not glued together. Needless to say, we were shocked and disgusted! <br /> <br /> Dustin made the necessary repairs to the previous work and informed us that more of the joints may not hold, but that at the moment they were okay. He also said that the lead pipe under one of our bathrooms had not been replaced, and that this drain was the main reason for our stoppages. He will return to make these repairs and re-inspect the sewer pipes in a few wekks to make sure that no leaks are occurring. <br /> <br /> Dustin gave us a detailed receipt (explaining the repairs he made), thanked us for our business and gave us a $50.00 credit for any future service he provides. To our great surprise, he also sent us a nice thank you note within a week of his service. Dustin is professional in every sense of the word and would not hesitate to hire him or A to Z Plumbing in the future. Way to go A to Z and Dustin!"

"Once on scene they did a quick walk through and then began isolating possible areas until the leak was found in an outside faucet which was on a watering line and therefore no problem was visible. They then quickly fixed the issue and went over a couple of times to make sure that the problem was fixed. Professional - Knowledgeable- and Quick. The service is not cheap but then again an unknown water leak which you have no idea how to stop isn't either. This is my 2nd time to use them over the past 20 years. Hopefully will not need again anytime soon but same kind of problem and they are who I will be calling."

"Ordered the flooring 11/11; arrived at store 11/18. Had been verbally promised and quot;installation by Thanksgiving. On 11/18, I happened to go to the store and learned the materials had arrived. I waited another week without a call. On Friday before Thanksgiving, I phoned Lowes and spoke with someone in the installation department. At that point, the installation department was apparently and quot;fulland quot; on their installation schedule and put my installation off until December 3rd. Initially I said ok, but realized I wanted it installed as they promised. I called back and talked to someone in flooring informing them that since they couldn't install as promised I would cancel the order. The person on the phone said would make some calls and get back to me. Within a few minutes, I received a call back stating they could deliver the flooring that afternoon (needed to be inside for 24-48 hours before installation) and install on Monday (before Thanksgiving) which was done. The workmen arrived promptly and did a very nice job. <br /> <br /> By way of update January: The floor installation was beautiful but there are two small patches where the flooring (glue) didn't stick and are 'squeaking.' Early last week I stopped in and talked to someone in flooring who said they'd have installation get in touch with me, and that it would probably be a couple of days....As of this date, no contact. (1/28) I called back today and talked to someone again. After talking to the installation dept. I was told that I would get a call back in an hour or so. It is now 6:51 p.m. and NO RETURN CALL! <br /> <br /> On the whole, I'm not pleased with the level of customer service. I will be installing this type of flooring in two additional rooms sometime in the next year or so. However, given this experience, I will shop for a small local company with better customer service. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />FOLLOW UP 5/28/2014: Have developed some spots where the glue is not holding to vinyl below. Have called MULTIPLE times to get it fixed. Installer came out a few weeks ago and put glue under one spot. Problem is that it's like getting bubbles out of wallpaper...now there is an adjacent spot that is worse. I can't seem to get Lowes' attention as and quot;this is their busy timeand quot; and they are booked up on installations for awhile. I was told about two weeks ago, by one of the flooring staff at the local store that this problem has apparently been occurring recently with this type of floor/installation (Bruce engineered hardwood over vinyl). She told me that if they couldn't get it fixed, they'd have to replace it. When I spoke to her today and I brought that up, she told me that she thought I had been talking about a vinyl floor. (I hope she didn't get whiplash peddling backwards so fast.) In any case, still waiting for installation dept to get out here and get it handled. The floor is only six months old and I can't imagine what it will be like in a year... Stay tuned... <br /> <br />"

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Pottsville, AR

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
