"We had such a horrible time trying to find a solution to our finished basement taking on water a second time just after we redid our floors. After several estimates from people offering very outrageous solutions and prices, High Tech Concrete & Excavation reached out to us. We took a chance and were not disappointed in the slightest! Jimmy was great - good communication, fantastic and quick work, and VERY reasonable pricing which both my husband and I greatly appreciated. He was very honest with his estimate and actually cared to look at all points that were affected in the house instead of just outside. He even took time during their work to show me issues they found with our foundation and offered to fix them while he was here. It's been 3 months and absolutely no water has found its way into our finished basement We'll definitely be keeping their card and calling them back in the springtime to finish our driveway and for any other work we may need. You wont be disappointed!"

"The gentleman who came to my home were absolutely great! Explained everything and made sure I was happy with the work every step of the way. I was nervous in the beginning but my fear subsided after Robert Charlesworth, Marcelo largo, Isaiah belcher and Johnathon Lopez made for a great experience. The attention to detail and dust control, tapping off areas they felt I wouldn’t want getting dusty exceeded my expectations! Thank you for your hard work and kindness. "Antonio and his team are real professionals with whom I can safely trust ANY concrete work. The project was a 25x42 slab for a modular garage. Antonio was willing to fill out the paperwork for the permit in Highland and even help with getting the permit for the modular garage as well. I found his company on Angie's List and was matched with 2 other concrete companies. Unfortunately the one company never called or even gave an estimate, the other came in under $8Kfor the project which seemed good. When I met with Antonio in person he assessed the site, took some measurements and got back to me with an estimate which was a little over $10K for everything. While most people would look at the numbers and go with the lesser price, I got a gut feeling that Antonio was a no-nonsense kind of guy who took pride in his work. We signed with him and couldn't be happier. I imposed on him the request for the permit paperwork and continually threw small modifications which he willingly did without issue. He was out there with his crew every single time from morning till end of day leading the work. As someone who owns a bar, I recognize people who lead by example, care about their staff and take pride in their work. Because we will be having additional work done not just at our house but at my bar, I'll be referring his company to everyone I know within the Hudson Valley. If there's any one take away I can give, is that you can shop around, get multiple estimates on your project and opt for whoever is least expensive. Do know that good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good. I only leave a 5-star review to business that I believe has gone over and above. Since they took the time to do the job right and exceeded my expectations, it's my responsibility to do the same and praise them for what they do well and hopefully help them get recognized in their community as a standard of excellence."

"I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.   <br /> <br /> Prior review: <br /> Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly. <br /> Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"The house is built in 1920, has unleveled concrete floor under wood floor. We have Franky, the boarder collie, we wanted waterproof floor, easy to clean floor we opted for 24x24 Regency white polished porcelain form floor and decor . Wilson visited the site three times before we decided on the final work. The old concrete had 6â difference in height. They chipped part of the old concrete, added new level concrete and put porcelain tiles. We choose specific porcelain tiles, they drove to NJ and picked it up. They cut the tiles to fit the boarders of the stone walls. They did great job. The price is fair. They were very efficient when they did the demolition but whatâ s impressive is the team was not rushed when started building, true craftsmanship. Right after they left the heating people said the floor looks great and asked who did it? J V Masonsry."
