"Sod went in well and so did planting and mulching. Loam and overseeding was spotty. One area was done well and came in nicely but the bulk of the seeding was very light and patchy. Putting the same amount of seed consistently across all the new loam would have made for a much better end result. The new loam with minimal seed now just looks like larger patches than when we started the project. Also the mulch delivery truck left three large light color scrape marks in my new driveway. Accidents happen but no one acknowledged and/or apologized. Contacted Elder about looking at the seeding issue and he said he would stop by to which he no showed. Tried to contact a couple more times and he just ignored me. He seems like a good enough guy but depending on your project YMMV. For the money spent, I would not recommend to someone else."

"Rob was very responsive, always on time, and did a beautiful job! I needed old gates/fencing removed, new gates built and installed and the length of my chain link fence secured at the bottom so my dogs could not escape. He came out and gave me a very reasonable quote for the work. He showed up on time, is friendly, and went above and beyond to get the work done, as it was more extensive than originally thought. "Martinez Lanscaping are efficient and perform quality work! Gustavo is communicative and truly wants the customer to be happy with the outcome. Our rotting patio and retaining wall were completely replaced and the new patio looks great! We were impressed and hired them for a second job, to add a wood fence over the old chain link, which we thought would be a "next year" project. The new fence was in before the next snowfall. We also had them do a quick and simple fix to our side garden wall which had fallen apart. We didn't want anything fancy, and they kept to that perfectly with a simple wood box."

This is a original creative design that he came up with (modifed a gate design, to add more detail). I think you will agree this guy is extremely talented. He also did not mind when we told him to come back with more paint on the rails and window bars. Greatly appreciated.

"From the quote to the follow up I was so happy with the entire process. The work is not contracted out. It was done by the family who owns the company and their employees. They were quick, considerate and accommodating to the fact I had other work going on and they had to deal with dig safe because of the gas pipeline in my yard. The price was great and right on target with my numerous other quotes. They had a wonderful selection of fences and actually listened and asked questions. I have done a lot of work on my house and this company far exceeds any of the contractors I have used so far. So much so that I have never written a review before. They just did such a great job I think other people need to know!"
