"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

I appreciate his willingness to take on a small project (replacing old countertops with new laminate and tile backsplash) with as much professional attention as bigger projects. He's also good about advising what kinds of materials fit the age of the house, keeping what I'd call the historical integrity in mind. They work efficiently and quickly, checking with me as questions arose. The kitchen and outdoor "workshop" areas were tidied up at the end of the day. I worked with other contractors on a big project (significant repairs after a huge tree fell on my house six years ago) and that was an awful experience including overcharging, non-existent change orders, lack of communication, and, ultimately, poor workmanship. Richard and Trimco have re-established my faith in his profession. Trimco is a great small company! I recommend them with no reservations at all and look forward to having them do other projects for me in the future."
