"There were a of communication (or lack of on the part of the company) and scheduling issues. When the workers arrived they finished the project, but told me they didn’t have a truck to haul away the rubble. I was too tired to argue, so it was left for me to shovel and rake. Later, I noticed that the workers cut expansion joints but did not cut up to the house because they didn’t have the correct tool, so they just left it. I had to call for them to come back and finish it. They also chipped part of the concrete. When I pointed it out, I was told to just fill it with sealant, and it would be alright. The concrete slab is good, but I wouldn’t really recommend them. Too much hassle."

"We got several quotes on the job and finally decided to use Hernandez. Their estimate was neither the most of least expensive. We made our decision based on the amount of advice we got from the contractors and the experience they brought to us. Due to rainy weather the job was delayed by several weeks, however once Frank and his crew arrived they were hard at it for the entire day. They did an outstanding job on the driveway itself and also helped by moving the dirt from the site to fill some holes in our back yard. "Elliot and his crew showed up as scheduled. They had some difficulties with the old slab being so porous, but worked through the day to get it right. The color came out great, but the gloss layer did not last. After discussing this with Elliot, he stated it was most likely due to the very old and porous slab. Elliot and his crew came back to the house, re sanded the floor and put a thin top layer on the slab. He stained and sealed the floor with a high gloss finish. He did all this at no cost to me and the final product came out great."

"Returned our call same day. Came out and quoted us a price the next day. Job was scheduled for that Friday and was completed before sunset. Excellent workmanship, used work area tarp, clean up after the job was completed. Very polite, would certainly recommend he and his crew!"

"  I had to change the date due to my work schedule, and he had no problem in rearranging the schedule.  He showed up on time and immediately started working with his crew.  They quickly discovered that my apron was actually poured with 8-9" of concrete compared to the normal 4".  He didn't say anything until I asked about it.  He said that it was not normal and that it would slow them down.  He originally estimated it to be a 6-7 hour job.  It turned into an 11 hour job.  He rescheduled the concrete truck and adjusted his crew to accelerate the work.    <br /> <br /> The new apron is amazing.  He solved my "hump" issue and widened the entry when he saw potential problems (after asking me if it was ok).   Mr Bedford was extremely courteous and was always on-time.  He did not ask for any additional money for the unforeseen work, as he said "his word is his bond" and that he would eat the extra work.  I ended up giving him additional money for his time and additional crew required.  He has a small company, but he did an amazing job. "

"I wasn't sure what to expect as I have never needed this service before. The owner Donnie has many years of experience in this neighborhood and I hired him for that reason. When it came time to start the job, he and his staff worked all day at the demo and cleaned everything up. I was pleasantly surprised. Donnie came back to finish the job using his using his knowledge of how to work with the weather, which left me very impressed. The job was done well. I am very happy with the results and I will be using him in the future for other concrete jobs."

"I drove to visit their new showroom near the Athens Fleamarket only to find out that it was not open yet.  Called to set up an appointment to discuss planning an outdoor kitchen for my patio.  Got their voicemail and left a message.  Never received a call back.  To be fair, I never tried calling them back either, however I have to wonder about a business that doesn't promptly return phone calls.  I would still like to give them a chance so I will be calling them and hopefully will get to talk to a live person this time.  I hope this was just one of those miscommunication things. <br />"

"We just poured our slab in April and noticed a huge crack in the slab. We built the house on clay soil and on a hill, so not too surprised. We had a different foundation company come out and (due to a very aggressive sales pitch) decided to look around for a different foundation company. So glad I did. Allied came out and gave us the bid, no sales pitch or aggressive follow-up calls. I was not prepared for such a huge expense, but they really worked with me and we worked out a way to make financing the piers doable. We ended up needing 18 helical piers. They came out two weeks later, and over 3 days got all the piers in and cleaned up the area around the house. The owners Dad was there every day and a crew of around 5 guys worked extremely hard and did a fantastic job. Very nice guys. The job couldn't have gone any better. Highly recommend."
