"I hired Michael at XTremePro Masonry to fix my chimney. He did a great job repointing the whole chimney, replacing deteriorating bricks, repairing a cracked crown, and sealing it. I appreciate that he kept me updated throughout the whole project. Michael also helped diagnose and fix a water issue in our foundation/basement. He genuinely wants to help and stands by his work. I will definitely have him back for any future masonry work.Â"

"This type of service is expensive, probably because much of it is high up and requires scaffolding. Thus, while I think that the job created 5-star value, the money part pulled the rating down to 4.5, which is quite good. That said, Bianchini was competitive vs. others. Theirs was the middle bid, though the low bid seemed too low and was made without inspection the stucco up front. In the end, the proposal from Bianchini was clearly laid out, and it gave us confidence in them. Michael brought sample colors of the elastomeric paint for us to look at and painted them on our stucco, which was super helpful (in allowing us to pick a different shade vs. our original choices). Work was done while we were out of town, and our son was there to provide access to water for power washing and to approve the work, which then allowed us to make the final payment (Venmo, which was convenient). The photos we received from our son satisfied us that the job was done well. However, once we returned home, we were really satisfied with the job and the quality of the work. The color looks great, and anyone walking by might say our stucco looks the best in our neighborhood. All told, Bianchini repaired three cracks in the stucco, pressure washed all surfaces, and painted with elastomeric paint with a 20 year warranty (though we were advised 15 years was more reasonable). Great job overall, and we recommend Bianchini to any wishing to repair and refresh their stucco."

"We chose Plymouth Landscaping because we have worked with them before and have always been completely happy. This time was no different; they did a terrific job. The crew (Jose, Arturo and Bulmaro) started on a Monday. They began work on time and worked efficiently and quietly. At the end of every day they left the front of the house as neat as a pin. Old shrubs had to be removed, as did the old front steps and walk, and they had this completed by the end of the first day. They blocked off the front door and entrance to the walk so that no one could make a mistake and get injured. During the project, there were several days of rain -- and here I want to mention the owner of the company, Joe, because his communication with us was excellent. During the days of bad weather, we knew when the crew was coming and when they weren't; we didn't have to rely on the weather to tell us, or make us guess. During the rainy days, the walkway remained very neatly blocked off. Once the weather improved, the crew finished the work just as efficiently and quietly as they began it. They also weeded the beds around the house, which improves the look of things quite a bit. I want to mention Joe again for two reasons. One is that he designed the top step to make it safer for a family member who uses a cane. He put the top step at the level of the doorstep, eliminating a potential trip hazard. The other reason is that he redesigned the drainage from one of our gutters so that rainwater and snow melt now disperse into the yard, as opposed to draining on the driveway, which in winter always left a hazardous patch of ice. This wasn't actually part of the project but he saw a problem and took steps to fix it. I would also like to mention that Jose, Arturo and Bulmaro were very friendly and thoughtful. Every day that they were here they brought our newspapers to the back door, which was very helpful. Even such a small gesture shows the kindness of the crew, and reflects the character of Joe, the man who hired them."

"Excellent! We needed 4 Timber Retaining Walls that were jointly owned by 6 households (10 people) torn down & Replaced with Stone Retaining Walls. (Not an easy feat with multiple households, one being out of state for an extended period.) However, the paperwork was managed easily by A & J Excavation. "Bill and his team did a variety of home repair and improvement projects on my 40+ year home Fall 2024. We a couple months. These included: repairs : replacement of wood sub flooring/framing in basement ceiling/upstairs, covering outside side door concrete steps on slate,and cresting a new sidewalk to lead up to it, cleaning front of house stonework and putting protectant on it, building new short frame and drywall in order to replace old closet doors, dry walling and painting interior room and more. What impressed me most were the professionalism and expertise of Bill and his team in every way. Quotes were detailed, and multiple options were provided when needed. I was kept informed of daily schedules and progress, the contractors were skilled, meticulous and excellent with prep and cleanup. "This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"Patrick Quinn and his team did a fantastic job completing the pointing on our house. He was very respectful of the historic character of our home and knew what he was talking about. After our initial consultation, we did some research on his recommendations and went with nearly all of them. They showed up when they said they would and were easy to have around (polite, friendly, cleaned up). Pretty much on time and on budget, told us right away when things weren't quite according to plan. We have a 110+ year old behemoth of a house - NOTHING ever goes according to plan we're used to it. Bonus: they took care of a few details I didn't expect like the steps to a side door (see photos) and repairing a few loose stones elsewhere. We will hire again."
