"I originally asked for a bid on taking out old fence and replacing with a new vinyl fence. The quote I got was for just the new fence. In later discussion after I had told them to go ahead I realized that they were not including the removal of the old fence. So they added an amount to cover that which was still less than other bids in total. <br /> They did great work on time as scheduled. Mark was very professional and followed up as promised. The fence looks great and seems very solid. <br /> The reason we decided to get the vinyl fence over a new block one was that a nearby tree root had grown upward and had broken up the block wall. We wanted the vinyl because it could be built with a gap at the bottom that would allow for that upward root movement. The problem is going to be that what was designed to be a three inch gap ends up being only a one inch gap where the root is. Which means we are still going to have to deal with that tree eventually. Would have been good to know that measurement before the job started. <br />"

"The first salesman we had was flaky, but he left Allied Iron. Everyone else has been very knowledgable and professional. I like the fact that you can design the door or gate the way you want, not simply select from a fixed list of models. We were able to see how everything, including the door handle is custom built. I like the fact that we were able to see our door and gate before powder coating. We requested a minor change, which they handled no problem. Installation was quick. The product is not cheap, but considering it is a custom product with high quality, it is worth it."

"My poor review is not about the company's product quality or their service technicians (installation). It is about their office personnel who are unprofessional in regards to providing their clients with necessary and standard paid receipts. I have been trying for five months to get my paid receipts for security doors I bought from them and had installed. I have called their office several times, dating back to October, and each time I am told the receipt will be e-mailed to me that day. Since I have received other e-mails from them I know they have my correct address. I also recently asked one of the service technician to please have their office send me my receipt. That was four days ago as of this review, and still their office will not give me my receipts. It is required to have receipts for warranty work, for a discount on homeowners insurance, for information on the date, model, color, price and taxes paid. I appreciate the value of the doors I received and the professional installation, however, I can not recommend this company due to their unprofessional accounting practices."

I told him what I wanted and he advised me of the best colors and lock for the gate. His crew came within the week and installed the gate. They were timely and thorough. "I have used Precision Door since 2006 before becoming an Angie's List member with good results. Yesterday, 7/26/2016, was the first use of this company as an Angie's List member. 3 days ago I began hearing a squeak during the final phase of garage door closing that hadn't been there before. Additionally it had been over 4 years since I last had any work done to the garage door (and it was Precision Garage who installed 2 springs at that visit) and knew things needed lubricating at minimum. I looked on Angie's List for different garage door repair vendors and saw Precision was one of them with a coupon deal for $45 tune up. I called Precision first to veryify the deal, made an apointment for a techician to come the following day and upon ending the phone call, purchased the deal and printed off the coupon. Brandon, the technician, called ahead of time that he was on his way. He was a nice, clean cut looking young man, who immediately went to work and answered my questions along the way. In no time my garage door was running quietly and efficiently once more, no small feat for a 20 year old garage door. Was very pleased once again with Precision and would recommend them for garage door needs."
