"We used PR Painting and General Services to install new handrails for our porch and a gate for our deck. Marcelo and his crew did an excellent job. The rails are sturdy and look great. They custom-built the gate on-site to fit the space, and it came out looking terrific. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up, and completed the project quickly and as scheduled. The cost of the project was competitive and very fair. We definitely got great value for what we spent. Marcelo was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend PR Painting and General Services. He completed smaller tasks and efficiently repaired an entryway ceiling, with a second person assisting to get it done quickly. "Mack from Alton Barnes called me back quickly from the VM I had left, and met me at the property shortly after. I had deck and porch damage from a big tree that came down and glanced the side of the house after a bad wind storm we had. Upper deck was unstable. Repairs needed to be done ASAP. Mack was on it right away. His communication thru out the job was outstanding, sending me pictures of his progress along the way. He finished quickly as well. No waiting or wondering if he was going to show up. Property was cleaned up after the job as well. I couldn't be happier with his work. Mack is honest, gives great money saving suggestions and quickly follows thru! I'm already planning to hire him again for another few jobs I have in mind."

"I can't speak highly enough about this company. When I called to arrange an on site visit for an estimate, they showed up on time and listened to everything I had to say about the job. I was given a written quote on the spot (something I rarely see from contractors), so I offered them the job. To my surprise, he said he could get started the very next day (a Saturday) and that they would be able to finish the following Monday when the deck had dried off. They arrived to start the job when they said they would, and got to work right away. I was concerned I would need to move the stuff we have on the decks, but they told me they could simply move them to the side and then move them back when they were done. They did exactly that, and everything was put back to its original position when they were finished. They were power washing all day, and were very thorough. When they came back two days later, they again went to work right away rebuilding the stairs and water sealing the deck. The stairs look great! They even added a step so the bottom step could sit more securely on the concrete (it had been resting on a cinder block before being rebuilt). They advised to wait 1-2 days for the water sealer to dry before using the decks, we paid them, and they did a great job cleaning up when they left. I wish all contractors we hired were as efficient and straightforward as the people working at Melvin Power Wash. I will absolutely call on them again when my decks need maintenance, or if my house needs a wash."

"12 X 12 screened in porch with a 12 X 8 Deck off the end of the porch. Mike the owner, Devyn the Salesman, and Inmar the Job Forman were professional and responsive in all matters. The day to day crew had some rotating members but all were competent and respectful. The Job was completed faster than promised and we were more than pleased with the finished product. One minor issue was noticed after job completion and payment, Notified them and it was fixed within 2 days. We would highly recommend"

"The guy actually doing the work is great. I wanted my deck to be stained as well as being repaired. The owner of the company did not want to complete the job due to having to wait too long for a dry couple of days, so he adjusted the bill, which I do not think was fair, but, ok. The stain was included in the estimate. Initially told me to find someone else to stain my deck. If you choose this company just make sure you receive an itemized estimate and final bill."
