As soon as we opened the closet door housing the inside unit and water heater, we found water in the overflow pan. He found the unit was no longer level. This was probable due to water heater replacement last year. He added a brace to straighten the unit and a device to replace the pan. This cost a little more than usual but worth the money."

I was considering a tankless water heater already, and the first tech walked me through the pros and cons, then wrote up an estimate. However, Corey Woodward and Anita, the scheduler, restored my confidence in and respect for Thermo Direct by their prompt, courteous , and apologetic responses to my need for emergency repairs today (the Friday following my first contact with this company). Those two employees saved that company from a negative review from me. Thank you. I am grateful and now warm. (smile) By the way, the photos submitted via email to me gave me my first view of my attic after I purchased my house in August 2007. Wow! Thanks for that photo, Corey Woodward. I called Cape Fear Heating & Air (based on Angie’s list reviews) after years of having my home warranty company send different service providers to my house to assess the problem and tell me that the heat was working properly, although the heat would stop working and the house was cold.
