In early March, they fixed multiple issues that we had going on in our house. In 2012, my husband and I moved back into his childhood home. The whole time our guest bathroom has not had a working shower, but we knew from other plumbing visits that to fix it would require cutting through drywall from another room and be a big project. Plus we had to fill a bucket with the cold water of the tub to flush the toilet, we have had two other plumbers visit over the years to fix this issue with no luck. We finally decided to fix the hot water in our guest bathroom and other plumbing issues that my dad recommended that have happened over the years. We are expecting our first child in July and the out of town new grandparents were planning (before the pandemic) to stay with us to help out. We know we need our guest bathroom that is close to the nursery to be up and running. Optimal Plumbing Solutions repaired the clean out in the front yard, replaced two outside hose bibs, replaced the shut off valve and supply line at the toilet, installed a shower/tub valve, and replaced shower arm with drywall cutout. Basically they fixed all the plumbing issues we have been procrastinating on fixing. They did a fantastic job! Our pipes are safer and less likely to burst with the clean out repaired and the hose bibs replaced. Our guest bathroom now has a working shower and toilet again! Note: I did not take photos of the outside issues, but here are some before and afters of the guest bathroom: new shower, old shower, new tub, and old tub"

"Cancelled all services with Blanton as well as this well pitched Wow Service Plan. Was given a good pitch about services provided. However, after scheduling twice for services provided by service plan, only to have them cancelled and told need to reschedule. Today is was need to reschedule because they are anticipating (four days from now) a high volume of emergency calls due to cold weather and freezing temperatures. What cold weather? 52 and 43 at night are not freezing temps; 69 and 67 daytime are not freezing temps. So you reschedule appointments four days in advance with no actual justification or confirmation the day of of what you think might happen? Sounds more like laziness or a reason not to fulfill appointments made almost two weeks prior. Second, why have an online system that allows you to book an appointment and date but when you call to complete the appointment process, tell us that the dates that show on the calendar as “available” don’t actually mean they are available? The lady I spoke to said they are run by two different departments. Sounds like you need to update your systems and booking process that actually shows dates of availability so customers don’t waste time picking a date that isn’t actually available and waste time. Or get rid of calendar option altogether so you cannot select a date that isn’t in “real” time."

"I used Streamline Services to replace my HVAC system and to install insulation on the ductwork in my basement in August 2024, and unfortunately that was an extremely expensive mistake. We have since had them out 7 times that I have record of to repair issues related to the ductwork insulation, at extreme disruption to mine and my husband’s jobs which are based in our home, and on 2 of those occasions they also had a manager supervising. It’s the least of my concerns at this point but they left a mess each time they came, insulation scraps and screws all over the place and tape stuck to the floor. After all that, the insulation has never been properly adhered to the ductwork and has fallen down repeatedly, there are multiple areas all over our basement where the fiberglass insulation is exposed and where the tape has visibly lifted and the insulation is just resting on top of the duct. Their communication is somehow even worse than their workmanship. I’ve been trying to speak to a manager about a refund since December (I have record of 10 such inquiries I made in that time) and I’ve either been ignored or told that someone will call me and it never happens. They did give me a refund that amounted to roughly 8% of what I paid for the duct wrapping about two weeks ago, without contacting me or letting me know which I found odd, however that is not at all reflective of what I should be refunded after all of this and I think they just did it in hopes that I would leave them alone. I really wanted to resolve this with them amicably and have been exceedingly patient with them but unfortunately that goodwill hasn’t been reciprocated. We paid for our ducts to be wrapped and sealed and I think it’s clear we didn’t get what we paid for."

"This company has some of the rudest and most disrespectful people working there. Veronica and Jessica should not be in customer facing positions. The bathroom remodel was done well, but the tile installer needs a bit more attention to details. We still do not have glass and had to call the glass company last week directly for an update as they were not being provided by New York Renovations. NY Reno kept stating there’s a delay and timing is estimated. However, Glass Depot told us the deposit was never paid and that was 7 weeks after they came out for a template. Just called the glass company again for the first time since early last week after continued vague updates from NY Reno. One very helpful person told me that NY Reno just paid the deposit via ACH earlier this week and that they’d call back after asking around for a timing update. Never heard back, so I called again but was told that NY Reno had instructed Glass Depot to not speak with me. The woman at Glass Depot specifically said she was told by NY Reno to not discuss any financial information but could confirm that “the glass has been ordered”. However, when I called last week, that same person at Glass Depot said the deposit was not made and glass had not been ordered. Meanwhile, for weeks, NY Reno was providing random updates about our glass saying they haven’t heard from the glass company, or that it’s just one more panel to come in. Those seem to be false as well as the “receipt” they emailed which was a text only document on Microsoft Word (not images). I’m sure NY Reno will reply to this and say they have gone above and beyond to make us happy. Or, try to put the blame on us and call us rude for following up directly with their vendor, but we have plenty of emails and an outrageous to show this. Plus, a bizarre phone call from Veronica where she berated me by saying that I picked the wrong person to mess with, calling me insane, etc. Update: After I left a review on Google, Veronica from NY Reno emailed stating that they will no longer be in contact or respond to any form of communication until there is a glass install date. She also continued the false line of allegations regarding harassment. Their response to this review, negative criticism, and a customer pushing for concrete updates speaks volumes."
