"Bob and his helper Jessie dug out 54 two-feet-plus post holes and filled them with a minimum of 120 lbs. concrete. The work was done on a rough sloping yard full of stones while Bob and Jessie carried equipment up and down the hill in order to complete the job. They also replaced the pavers where they had been removed before the post holes could be dug out. The whole huge job was done in about three weeks, they worked hard day in and day out with a cheerful, pleasant, and highly professional attitude. Bob handles difficult challenges effectively and without complaints; he adapts quickly to changes in plans and comes up with creative solutions without ever making a fuss. Bob and Jessie were two of the most easy-going fellows I have ever met among the many businesses advertised in Angie's List (another gentleman is Mike Raffo from All Tree Care Service). These past three weeks went by quickly and the result is a beautiful fence perfectly built that brings me privacy, great enjoyment and is admired by all my neighbors. Moreover, Bob replaced a utility gate with a trellis gate and a trellis space separator; I also appreciate the way Bob pays attention to details, like installing gate door stops and privacy slots between gates and fence. I truly enjoyed Bob's peaceful and pleasant personality and wish him the very best in his business and a well deserved success. Finally, I highly recommend B.W. Fencing Inc. for anyone seeking to improve their property and meet a great guy. <br />"

"Apache Fence did a great job. I can see why they're rated number 1. I would definitely use them again. They did a professional job that looks great and the cost was lower than their competitors!"

"We got the estimate in November, 2014 through Home Depot's install services. They would not schedule an appt for after hours or weekends, so I had to take time off work to meet the sales rep and get the estimate. We had 11 ft of space between our old fence and the sidewalk on our side yard and we wanted to expand our backyard area. I asked the sales rep what code was for placement back from the sidewalk. He did not know (which I found interesting for a fencing contractor). I told him at that time we wanted to be within code or very close so it did not cause issues later. Again, he did not know. He spent more time discussing how great Borg Fence was and all the Home Depot business they were getting and not spending enough discussing our fence. He provided a quote which was slightly higher than other quotes we received, but the sales rep from Borg said he could get us 12 month same as cash financing with Home Depot. We decided to wait until after the holidays at which time I contacted the City of Roseville myself to confirm set back (5') and height limits (7') for our area. Once I obtained that information I emailed it to the sales rep and asked if we could schedule the job. At the same time, I had let him know we had received a coupon from Home Depot for a 24 months same as cash deal for services and asked if we could use that coupon. He thought we could and for me to email it to him (which I did) and we scheduled the date. <br /> The crew arrived as scheduled, but when they started laying out the holes for the posts, they were laying them 4' from the sidewalk instead of the required 5'. They had already dug two when my husband stopped them and pointed out that it was too close to the sidewalk. They said that was what the sales rep drew on the drawing. My husband had difficulty discussing with them where the posts should go as none of them spoke very good English and they had to resort to pointing to the dimensions on a drawing from the company.  So he called the Production Manager (who was out that day) and left a message for his backup, then he called the sales rep, but had to leave a message there as well. The Sales Rep called back and spoke to my husband  and during their discussion (in which the Sales Rep took an uncalled for hostile tone) the Sales Rep stated that we never discussed a setback from the fence, that he was never told of the requirements, and that they never go by code, only the wishes of the customer. He did call the crew and had them move the holes to 5' as requested, but only after much agruement and the threat of them charging more. <br /> Then they started removing the old fence and we noticed they were sawing off the posts at the ground and buring them instead of removing them completely. We again called the rep to discuss why the posts were not being removed, since the quote stated it included "tear down and haul away of old fence". We made a point that a reasonable person would understand that removal of all of the old fence would include the concrete and entire posts. His response was "we never do that, we just bury them". That if we wanted them removed it would be an additional $50 per post (we had approx 14 posts) and he said it would another day to the job. My husband had taken a vacation day off to be there for the job. He could not take another day without prior notice. Even though we argued with the rep, he was not budging on his stance and since several posts were already now in place, we had them complete it . The fence was completed and looks great. The crew cleaned up everything and finished in 1/2 a day. <br /> I would like to point out that the crew were courteous and respectful, even after having to move the two posts and all of the drilled holes. The biggest issue we have is we want need to have additional work performed (landscaping the new back yard area behind the new fence) in the yard, but will now have to remove the posts that remain for some of the new plants to be planted. Then, to top it off, once the charge was processed through Home Depot it was only setup as 12 months same as cash, not the 24 months with the coupon I had provided. This was resolved by me calling Home Depot credit and having them apply the 24 month coupon. One more thing the rep did not listen to me on. With our experience with the Sales Rep being what it was (disrespectful) we would not currently recommend Borg Fencing to anyone for fence work in our area. <br />"

"They were great. I had the bids and I had to over other bids and I like the way they did the blueprint of it. I like the guy, whose name is Jim Miller. From what I read on Angie's list and also they are local. There is a little glitch with one of the gate and they were out the next day. They really did a beautiful work, cleaned up, very happy. The bid was not cheap, but it was very fair. I had rocks in my yard they had to drill hole in them. I would use them again in the future. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We used Tibi home design to completely demolished and rebuild our kitchen and garage. Shay with his crew teared down the separation wall between the kitchen and living room to open the space and give a huge open floor plan. The remodeling that they did at my house was to replace the floor with new and large 24”x24”, install all the new appliances, upper and lower cabinets, granite counter tops including back splash and new lighting fixtures. In the garage, Shay installed all the necessary drywalls, installed new lighting fixtures with LED, new paint, storage cabinets and new garage door system. The new kitchen, living room and garage gave us a whole new feel of the house and it came out like a completely brand new house inside."

"The thing is on the deck, I know there was wood rot. They did take out the ply wood on time but beyond that there were termites underneath that they did not take out. I should have been there watching and I didn’t tell them to call me when they removed the ply wood. I thought since I told the contractor he would have told the workers but, he did not. The resolution for that was to spray the bugs after they finished the job. That’s not what I wanted or what I paid for. Everything else was great; I would just watch them when they do work next time. They didn't collect one penny until the job was completed. They told me this is the one way they do business. This is really important when looking for a contractor who you can depend on that way."

"I want to begin with stating the positives of the job. The work was well done. Much to our mistake, we previously hired an unlicensed landscaper to install a putting green and drainage system in our backyard. The work was horrible and we needed it repaired, so we contacted Jesus. He repaired the putting green beautifully and did an amazing job with installing surface drainage throughout our backyard. He was easy to contact and punctual. The job was done quickly. If I stopped here, we would hire him again to complete the landscaping in our backyard. However, problems arose. Due to the incompetence of the previous landscaper we hired, one of the rooms of our house flooded during this year's rainstorms, so we had to repair and waterproof the wall from the outside. Jesus knew we had to do this as the putting green is installed adjacent to this wall. We told Jesus that we already had a guy coming to fix the exterior wall, but he recommended someone else. While we waited for his recommendation to come through, Jesus began installing our putting green. I explicitly asked him how we were going to complete the exterior wall without disturbing the putting green since the putting green is installed against the exterior wall. I was concerned about having to repair the area immediately after installation. Jesus assured me that the repair guy would not have to disturb the putting green much. If not for this reassurance, we would have completed the repair of the wall before installing the putting green. However, after Jesus' recommendation fell through, our original repair guy came to fix the wall after the putting green was installed. The putting green had to be dug up in the area where the exterior wall was being fixed. After the wall was fixed, we asked Jesus if he could touch up the area that was disturbed. This is where the problem starts. Jesus made comments to us that were highly offensive, unprofessional and extremely inappropriate to make to a client, especially one that spent over $7,000 with him. He said he would be charging us $150 to come "clean up" the mess of the exterior wall guy, and that he is "disappointed in the actions of contractors we have hired that he doesn't want to become another one of those terrible choices." Right here, Jesus has personally criticized and insulted us. The exterior wall guy works for a large, licensed company. Jesus went on to say that the guy who repaired the wall should have told us he had to dig up some of the putting green and that he would have to charge us a little more to repair it! He then said that he was not responsible for our entire project. That is correct, he wasn't. However, Jesus was unethical in not informing us that the putting green may have to be dug up and as a licensed contractor, should have advised us to wait on the putting green until the wall was complete instead of charging us more to fix it, himself or another company!!!!! He also said that the exterior wall guy should know how to fix a putting green and that if he didn't know should have called a company to fix it and charge us more! Jesus ended up sending someone over to "fix" the putting green not without hearing grief from him. He later texted us that the exterior wall guy was stupid and didn't have to dig up as much as he did. Then asked us again if we were happy with his work after we already told him 3x that we were. The touch up of the putting green was horrible. There are bumps along the side. His worker didn't bother to even pack the material underneath to make it smooth again. We are currently finding someone else to complete the landscaping of our backyard as we will not be using his service nor recommending his service to anyone due to his extreme lack of client respect. If you want someone to do a good job, but to treat you like **** after paying thousands of dollars, this is the guy for you. He lost a $4,000 job to complete our backyard over $150 and his unprofessional badmouthing."

"<p>We used Bear fence to install vinyl replacement fencing around our backyard in 2010. They did a good job and thus had them return to install another gate on the side of the yard with older fencing. They installed solar fence posts which looked good for about a year and then the lights fixtures kept dying. I had Brad from Eco Greenscape hard wire the lights w/ a timer box and the compliments are bountiful from company and neighbors that visit my house.</p> <p>They are a bit pricey compared to what other friends have said from other prices paid to contractors.</p> <br />"
