"Luis found a bad connection in a circuit that failed, replaced an outlet and a wall switch. He fixed a problem that actually had been building up for a year and a half after the last electrician did a dangerous hack and charged double. Very professional and kind. Highly recommend Fregoso Electric and will hire them again."

"I had spoken with Charles by phone and he had made suggestions for an appropriate transfer switch (6-circuit) and he suggested that I investigate Panasonic fans.  Panasonic fans have very good reviews online.  I purchased the parts myself.  Charles arrived on time with an apprentice (Russell).  I asked about installing a connection in our backyard for my generator to power the transfer switch.  Charles looked at our vaulted ceilings and property lines and concluded that the power line would need to be installed externally through a conduit.  It would not be easy to put the conduit underground because of existing concrete that blocks the way.  The conduit would need to be above ground along the base of the house and partially through a neighbor's yard, which would probably violate CC&Rs.  I decided against that, we will just use a long cord during emergencies.  We worked through identifying the six circuits to connect to the transfer switch.  He and Russell then installed the transfer switch and the bathroom fans.  When they finished the transfer switch, we connected the generator for an end-to-end test.  It started badly because the generator was running rough (I had never started it before).  Russell suggested that we open the choke, and it started running much better!  Everything was done in less time than I had expected in spite of the training that was being done.  Charles was doing most of the technical work and teaching Russell.  He was charging a flat rate, so taking time to teach was not an issue.  Russell was doing much of the carpentry work and did a very nice clean-up job.  They both were attentive and professional.  I would not hesitate to recommend them or to have them do additional work.

"Jeff was on time, professional, and extremely informative throughout the entire visit. He took the time to clearly explain the issue and walked me through the repair plan without any pressure. Honest, knowledgeable, and easy to work with I’ll definitely be using him again in the future"

"Obed installed a new 50 Amp circuit and 240 V outlet for EV charging. He was professional and completed the project in 2 hours! Clean and high quality work."

"Eddie, Issac and Luis were great. They had a major repair to do to my Solar system. Showed up on time explained the process and what to expect. They were so professional during the whole job. They went above and beyond for me. Made sure the work area was cleaned. Picked up after themselves before leaving... my system is up and running once again, wow what a relief. Finally a company that gets Customer Service which is really lacking and in short supply out there these days. Thanks guys, good job I hope I dont have to use you again soon but if I do it will be you. Louis P."

"I got a few estimates to get more power out to my studio. Everyone quoted me about 4K to upgrade my panel and get dedicated line out to my studion. These guys were to only ones that looked for a better/more economical solution. I sent a pic of my panel and he remembered that I upgraded my kitchen a while back but noticed that my electric stove had it's own dedicated line. He asked me, did you convert to gas when you remodeled? I said yes and he said, great, we take the line that was dedicated to the stove and we use that. It saved me $1500 and it worked perfectly. I would absolutely hire again!"

"I can’t speak highly enough about Jason and his team at Mr Sparky North County for the work they do at my home in Carlsbad. I needed a number of small electrical jobs done at my home and had previously had other Electricians out who were way expensive for installing new outlets, and updating my old ones. I found them polite, knowledgeable and performed the work quickly, and cleaned up after themselves"

"10 out of 10. So happy with the job they did. Thank you, thank you thank you I will call you soon as I have anymore repairs."

"Showed Up With A Current Tester ThaT Was Dead.....Had No AAA Batteries with Him To Make It Functional. So I Had To Give HiM Three AAA batteries So He Could Complete My Job!"

"Justin did a fantastic job updating our old electric panel, replacing a porch light, and adding a new GFCI outlet. He was able to get our jobs squeezed in within 2 days. Very courteous, professional, and detail oriented. He was recommended from a friend, and Justin is my new go-to electrician. I highly recommend him."
