"I contacted six different roofers, looking to get the job done. I was only able to get my call answered/returned by three of them. Only two actually showed up to do an estimate. Only one of those gave me an estimate. That agency stopped responding after I accepted the estimate. I don't know if it's normal to have a hard time simply finding someone willing to do a basic strip-and-replace roofing job, or if I give off some kind of bad vibes, or if it was a combination of too many jobs to do and not enough good weather, but whatever. Dean at Durable Remodeling came out within three days to do an estimate, gave me the estimate (in line with others I had received) along with great documentation of the work to be done. Then, he blew me away by scheduling the work later that week; something I'd been trying to get done for almost three months. His crew was in and out in an afternoon. Very considerate. Left my yard/deck nicer than it was before they arrived, having raked up some leaves behind our shrubs to make sure they got all the roofing debris. I'll be getting the rest of the roof done when its time comes, and I'll be calling these guys again. In fact, I'll be calling them again for any of the services they provide."
