"Hired them to tear down a deck that was built over a 1st floor mudroom as an emergency exit for the tenants upstairs on a multi family property. The deck was settling on top of the roof and began to leak into the mudroom every time it rained because there was no clearance between the wood and the roofing and the water was pooling then falling through to the interior of the house. Skyline construction group demoâ d the entire thing in one day and prepped the new footings for the new deck (previous footings were slabs of wood and not built to code). Day 2, they built the new deck and staircase. Day 3 they finished the railings and inspection. The total cost was 6800 dollars which might be a little more than I was quoted elsewhere... But I ultimately trusted this company over others. They were professionals. Itâ s the little things that add up and make the experience better. Bringing a tablet and a keyboard attachment for paperwork and signing documents electronically. Calling up other employees and putting them on speaker phone for a more accurate quote. Never once trying to turn one job into 10 jobs or pretend the world was exploding and we needed more money to save the day. Just a smooth process beginning to end. Will hire again. "Sam was our project manager for our back porch and side walkway project. He gave us the best price to lay down concrete for this project. Sam convinced us to go with the Cambridge pavers instead for a very small markup from doing it initially with all concrete. Sam showed us pictures of their work on his ipad and we were amazed at the quality. We had concrete masonry work done by another contractor previously for our front steps and the back steps but we weren't happy with their quality of work or the lack of skilled workers. They were basically day laborers. The Progressive Renovation workers were definitely skilled and experienced in masonry and paving work. I can't say enough about this company. They were excellent and my wife and I would strongly recommend them as the best we ever came across for masonry and paving work. Our project actually consisted of 2 projects. The first project for our back porch and side walkway of the house. We were blown away as it looked incredibly better and sleeker. Then Sam suggested as a second project to re-do the front steps of the house and the front walkway and to extend the back porch. We weren't even thinking of that but we were so happy with their work on the first project and at the price he offered that we went ahead with it. Even though we didn't have the budget for the second project, we went ahead with it as Sam suggested we can charge half of it on our credit card and pay the rest by check when the job is complete. You won't regret doing business with this company."
