His prices are reasonable, he listens carefully, communicates well, delivers on time, is responsible and reliable and is a very creative problem solver. The quality of the finished work is excellent. I had him build several custom pieces for my very small â  tiny houseâ  space with some tricky spacing problems to solve - two storage beds, another unique triangular â  broom closetâ  on wheels that fit under my stairs, and an additional side storage bench on wheels. I would highly recommend him as a woodworker and especially skilled at solving tricky built-in projects."

"Hugh's three workers were fantastic. They completed the work on the deck replacement in a day-and-a-half. The work was done cleanly with no damage to the landscaping that is so close to the project. Clean up when the project was completed is superior to any other we had done in the past. The refurbished storm door looks brand new and is a welcoming addition to the project. Hugh contacted us the same day as our request and showed up for the initial estimate on time. I cannot emphasize more what a pleasant experience it was having Hugh and his workers take care of our project. "Peter is the real deal- trained in custom furniture making and his artistry and pride really come through in his work. We hired Peter to build a dining rm bench with storage, and a rather large media unit. Both units look like our home was built with them- seamless. Punctual and professional communication. Would definitely recommend."

"Overall, the quality of the craftmanship was good.  However, he needs to work on his painting skills.  I requested and emphasized the need for a pure white cabinet.  It was first spray painted in ivory, and then he rolled on white paint, but only one coat.  So you could see patches of ivory through the white paint.  I thought that painting this cabinet would be the easiest part of the job.  I requested that he repaint the cabinet inside and out after it was installed.  He did but did it quickly just to placate me.  Now I am left to repaint it myself so that I can be totally satisfied with the piece. "
