"I hired Abigail and Robbie for a small project redesigning my home office and it's easily been one of the best decisions I've made for myself in recent years. I worked primarily with Abigail - especially during the ideation phase. She is sweet, understanding, and full of brilliant ideas (and she keeps to the budget). Even from our first meeting she gave the impression the office would turn out even better than I'd hope. I wasn't wrong! Robbie (who worked with Abigail to put it all together near the end of the project) is super cool and charming, and he knows his stuff! Both have excellent craftsmanship. What was once a room I dreaded entering at the start of my workday and couldn't wait to leave at the end of it has turned into a space I actively look forward to being in. This room now feels warm, inviting, cozy, and comforting. I wish I had taken some before photos! My wife and I will for sure look to work with Gil Mill Homes on future projects. Go hire them now!"

"We bought a 1950s house that needed a lot of updating and Adam and his team were responsible for taking down a wall between the living room and kitchen as well as building custom built ins for the living room and around the fireplace. All of the work was beautifully and expertly done and we have received compliments from everyone who has seen it. Throughout the project, we were consistently impressed by his attention to detail and his knowledge of what would and would not work. He went above and beyond ensuring our project was his focus and even coming by on weekends as needed. Unprompted he even acted as general contractor to other work going on prior to our moving in. "I usually try to not say anything in these situations, unless I can say something nice. But I hired Lynne for a complicated remodel of an old house, and had numerous problems related to the inadequacy of the design. The complex things that needed figuring out (such as the entire attic) were stamped "verify in field" on the plans. After numerous queries, she kept assuring me that the builder could figure it all out. But that was not the case. Some things were just flat-out wrong. Like persuading me that ridge vents alone would solve ice damming. She is a very nice person, but her skills are probably better suited to new construction."
