"Melvin did our landscaping, including the design, selection, and installation. Our original backyard was multi-tiered and not landscaped at all - most of the surface area was dirt that could not be planted. Urizar Landscaping as a team did an incredible job, not only clearing all the space and preparing the soil, but hand selecting plants (over 150) for the different areas of the yard, putting in a new lawn and building three raised garden beds in our backyard. We have continued to use them a few times a month for maintenance and replanting for the season."

"Before hiring Dooling Landscape Service, I requested bids from two other landscapers and Dooling seemed like the best deal. Tim and his team completely transformed out front yard and I could not be more pleased. I enjoyed working with Tim. He is very knowledgeable about plants/trees and does nice layout work. Regarding responsiveness... For the initial meeting, it was very easy to set up the appointment. Scheduling the job start date was little bit challenging, but that is because Tim is very busy (which I take to be a good sign). I would definitely work with Tim again on any other landscaping projects.

    Aeration:  Quick but thorough.  I've done my own aeration in the past so can assess job quality

    Fertilizer:  Applied fertilizer and pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide as part of the service

    Clean-up:  Thoroughly swept all areas around the lawn

    Knowledge:  Very knowledgeable and forthcoming regarding lawn and weed-related issues.  Had a number of valuable suggestions for how we could improve our lawn's soil condition and enhance water retention (water conservation)  

 

Price: 

    Very good.  $72 (including 10% Angie's discount) for approximately 2000 sq ft of lawn
