"Derek and the folks at VHEC saved our Christmas! We lost power very suddenly during the night and next morning Duke Energy said we had to have our meter box replaced. I got VHEC’s name from the Angi app. Derek returned my call immediately and understanding the urgency of the situation he swung into action! They obtained the parts, replaced the box, coordinated all the necessary county permits and inspections and had my box ready for Duke to restore the power by 3pm. Getting all that completed in 5-hours during the week of Christmas was nothing short of a miracle. "Late Spring, early Sumner is a busy time, I understand. No work was performed because it took several days before I got a response. I would have expected a little more professional communication within 1-2 business days. I refunded the deal and arranged to have the work done by another contractor. The point here is that it is better to respond quickly and set expectations about work date availability that have the person buying the deal waiting for more than a week for a response."
