"D&E did a great job on my paint project. From the first time I contacted him about a site visit and a quote, he was very responsive. He delivered the quote promptly, and I felt the price was very fair. He showed up for the first day of work right on time, and they got busy immediately. What I was most happy about was the prep work that they did ahead of the painting, including caulking, smoothing, sanding, etc. They didn’t just show up and start slapping paint on the walls, so the final product is very professionally done and looks really good. They also did a nice job of covering all the furniture and cleaning up after they were done. The only criticism I have is that sometimes the team would get a bit loud when they were talking, but I never really complained because it wasn’t that bothersome. It just can be a little distracting when you are having to have online meetings from home these days. I imagine having any contractor in your house is going to be a little noisy, and I’m sure if I would have asked Daniel they would have been a little quieter. He really wanted to make sure we were happy with the experience. Daniel and his team did a great job and I would definitely hire them again."

They also repaired areas of wall where the previous owner had left significant damage. Their skim coating made the walls look new again. Customer service, communication and reliability were superb. He suggested using a dark poly shades stain rather than a solid paint and it turned out amazing. The oak steps were the last thing in our home that was dated. You could tell each member had a very specific process to get the job completed. They cleaned up every evening and were respectful of the house, the plants and other yard items. "Per Behr, the paint manufacturer's printed directions, and my phone conversation with Behr's technical assistance dept, I directed CertaPro Painters to back brush the paint on the bare, pressure treated, kiln-dried surface. My directions were ignored after several follow -up e-mails to revise their contract as presented to me. Before the contract was presented to me and before an estimate was presented, I personally instructed CertaPro to "back brush" the paint AFTER applying the paint with a spray OR roller. However, after the paint was first applied with a spray gun, CertaPro began to use a roller. I firmly objected and instructed them to "back brush" per Behr's instructions. The field rep for Behr was on the job and told the painter to roll it on against my objections. The paint job was completed with spray and roller, NOT according to Behr's recommended application. I understand that CertaPro saved time doing it their, but it was not to the standard that I expected nor paid for. Bottom line is I believe I received an inferior paint job."
