"He finished the roof but did not tell me about the error in his workmanship. He did not finish the whole work. Update 12/22/2021: He finished the roof and said he fixed the problem, he showed me how he was to complete the repairs and after it was complete the work was not done in the manner he said he would do it. A new problem was noticed with the shingles and they are overhanging on a peak of the roof and are not attached and will blow off with high winds. The second part of the job, to put two sides on the shed was not done properly, he is charging me to come out to fix it, which is ridiculous, that is why contractors put that in their estimates. He was going to come out on a Saturday but change to Friday since it was going to rain on Saturday, when he called me and by the time he arrived on the job site it would be dark, I told him I did not want him to work in the dark with a flashlight. he keeps giving me excuses on why he cannot come out on certain days for personal reasons. The job should have been completed in October, except for his constant excuses for not being able to come out. If the problems are not resolved by the end of the year I will escalate this by other means."

"We scheduled to have our retaining wall done back in April. Kelly, the owner came out to give us a quote and we scheduled it. He said he had some other Jobs to do before ours but he would fit us in during the month of August and we should reach out to him around the end of July to get a more firm date line of when he would break ground to fix our falling retaining wall. I reached out at the end of July as we discussed and he said due to the rain he didn’t know when he would get to us but it would definitely be in the month of August. I told him that we were selling our house and as long as I could have a firm week that he begin work- that would be enough information to list our home for the new buyers. He gave me the runaround and said due to the rain he would still not be able to make it out and wouldn’t know when he would be able to make it out. I gave him another week and checked the weather, it rained one day but the ground was solid and dry for over a week and still we heard nothing from him. We reached out again in the middle of August, the 14th, And I asked him if he knew which week he might be able to start work, and he tells me I should sell the house as is. So unprofessional, he wasted my time for months and because I had him scheduled of course I did not schedule another company to do the work I needed done! He was rude and short and uninformative. I tried to be nice and civil, even extra friendly to let him know I was flexible and I asked him if he knew which week he might be able to start work, and he tells me I should sell the house as is.
