"We’ve had a lot of crews in our home for various projects over the years, and I have to say this was one of the most courteous. They worked hard, navigating through our kitchen to access the basement and I really appreciated their efforts. Thank you MTU, we now have safe walls in our cellar and fresh beams to keep the house standing ;)"

"Slab Jack Geo has to be the best in the business. Jerald came over, provided a quote to make my broken, tired driveway look soooo much better and then came and made it happen. I am elated with the job he did and the price was very fair. He saved me from having to put in a new driveway. I would recommend SJG to anyone in need of some very professional concrete repair work. They exceeded my expectations and I admire the work done every time I get in my car."

"They did an excellent job and completed the construction process much faster than other project I have had done.  They did not take any short cuts; they just executed the job very efficiently.  The owner and manager of the job site were both very professional and answered all of my questions.  I was very pleased with the job and would highly recommend them."

"The original full tile shower that was already installed in our house when we purchased it leaked. We tore it out ourselves and realized the contractors that had done the work did absolutely nothing to water proof it. I took the opportunity to update the rest of the bathroom since we had to replace the shower. I emailed Jordan for an estimate and he got back to me within 24 hours.   <br /> Jordan and his team were very professional. They respected my house and worked diligently throughout the work. They provided us a quote for all the work within a week of first meeting us. Their quote was itemized and every expense was justified. Any particular charge on the quote I had questions about they were responsive in explaining the fees. Not only did they provide a high level of quality in the work they did, they had great design ideas for the creativity impaired such as myself. The work took longer than I expected it to, but they did everything by the books. They let the shower liner soak overnight to assure that there were no leaks prior to installing it. They replaced the baseboards when they discovered they had water damage from the leaking shower. There was an issue with the vanity coming in finished on the wrong side, but Jordan and his team took care of it promptly and it did not delay them finishing their work by very much. <br /> I really liked that they let me pick things that I wanted them to do and let me do some things myself to save money. For example, he had his dry wall guys come in and patch all the holes and I primed and painted myself. He was very understanding of my budget and worked with me so that I was not spending more money than I was comfortable with. They even salvaged my old countertop to put on the new vanity to help me save some money. In the end, I didn?t pay a penny more than what they estimated. A few things came up along the way and they informed me of what it would cost and the reason it would need to be fixed prior to doing the work to make sure I was ok with the extra expenses. There was an issue with the vanity coming in finished on <br /> the wrong side, but Jordan and his team took care of it promptly and it did not delay them finishing their work by very much.  <br /> Overall, I would highly recommend them and I will be using them again if I need more work done around the house. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for concrete foundation repair projects in Richland, WA

Visible cracks, water leaks, uneven floors, or walls that won’t line up are classic red flags. You might also notice sticking windows, doors that no longer latch, or exterior cracks crawling up brick or siding. Even a damp, musty basement can hint at trouble. If you spot any of these, call a foundation pro right away. Early inspections cost far less than waiting until the damage threatens your home’s stability.

Yes, foundation problems impact your home’s value. Buyers want proof that the foundation is stable, and a recent, professional repair can actually boost confidence in your home. You’ll need to disclose the work, but documentation showing the structure was properly stabilized, especially with piers in regions known for shifting soil, often reads as a plus, not a problem. Skipping repairs, on the other hand, can cut your sale price and shrink the pool of interested buyers. Taking care of the issue protects both value and peace of mind.

Foundations are engineered for exceptional longevity when constructed correctly and maintained diligently. Concrete slab foundations remain structurally sound for 200 years, while other foundation types deliver integrity between 75 and 100 years. Regular professional inspections and timely maintenance further secure a foundation’s lifespan and ensure your home stays safe over the long term.
