"I initially hired Travis to help hang large pictures, mirrors & drapes. He works fast, is efficient & cleans the work area of all debris. He asks great followup questions to be sure he meets the customers needs and he is an honest contractor that I've come to trust. I highly recommend him and will hire him again for a future remodeling project. "

Customers say: Quick response

"Allexsis , Contractor for IBS first immediately answered my call and had me shoot over picture off my phone to see what he could do for me concerning damaged Cabinet drawer. I agreed to see what he had to say concerning work & price & was impressed that he showed up @ time he told me. Was amazed that he repaired from Company Van with all of his own tools & made look like before, replaced damaged wood attached to drawer front and even added reinforcement piece underneath while also straightening out metal rails. While here had other small project of putting together a bathroom cabinet that was in shipped in box in alot of scattered pieces with nuts & bolts. Asked Alexis if he could put together for me & save me the time. He agreed & put together quickly & even mounted on wall for me with better reinforcement. Work was done promptly and excellent job with both tasks. Very Happy with his work & will continue to use Company for any Handyman job or work needed on home. Highly recommend. "

"This man did way more than the option I chose. He worked hard and do an amazing job and fixing my home after a tree fell through the roof of one of my bedrooms. I couldn’t have asked for a better job done. I’d hire him again for any other repairs or builds that I may need in the future. "

"MIke was great. He started the project on time and finished on time. He was very professional and courteous. His craftsmanship for our laundry room counter was exactly what we wanted and built brilliantly. The exhaust fan in the master bathroom looks like it has always been there. Seamless workmanship. When I need additional work done, Mike will be my first call."

"They applied two coats of Rodda Cover Coat paint, which both ensured good coverage and durability. Because of the "unknown" factor, i.e., extent of water damage, the carpentry repairs were performed on a "time and material" basis. Additionally, the 25 year old weather stripping was replaced on exterior doors when they were removed for painting. All went very well and I'm delighted with results."

"Our initial contact with Earmark Construction was the bid process.  Rich was very respectful of our small project by showing up on time and following through quickly with a reasonable bid.  We had to put him off for a period of time to begin the job and he was considerate about the delay.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />He and his assistant arrived on time, came with all of the tools and hardware necessary, and worked efficiently throughout the project.  Also, they were very organized, were considerate of input from us as the project proceeded, and respectful of the property and grounds (important to any homeowner  and have found this to be a problem in the past).  It was clear from the beginning that Rich wanted to make sure the project was completed to our satisfaction.  <br /> <br />  <br /> <br />From this experience we are now completely confident that we have found a dependable and honest contractor and recommend him highly. <br />"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Richland, WA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
