I called LL Flooring in Tri Cities and they recommended Mike's Construction. I called Mike, he answered! He was out the next day from Tri Cities to our Yakima home for an estimate/bid. Mike had a lot of great ideas and suggestions. We actually added more items to our remodeling project. We met Mike in Tri Cities where he helped us throughout the process. He helped pick out colors, flooring and granite counter tops. We also ripped out our old island and had a new one put in. Mike put in luxury vinyl planking throughout our home. Mike was very professional, worked long days, started work as scheduled and did all he said he would do. I would recommend Mike's Construction to anyone looking for a reliable contractor. "We had a Pella patio door w/ sliding screen door, installed 1994. A year and a half ago, one of the screws holding the sliding screen door went loose because the anchor in the slide broke. Made all the calls to Pella, other door companies to find a replacement part...doesn't exist. Had a local door guy come in and his only recommendation was replace the whole patio door at a cost of around $15,000. No way. My wife doesn't like broken things. Had to bungee the sliding screen door back to keep it from sliding on its own to block the outside door. So I described the basic problem and she put it out there on Angies'. Literally within seconds I got a call from Allexsis, from "In a Better Space". He was available in an hour to check out the door. Couldn't fix it that first visit but he had an idea on how to do it. Went home with the "slide mechanism" for the screen door and came back today and installed the slide after putting in his "modified" screw anchor. It worked, and well."

"The job began with our purchasing some materials from a local home improvement store. The store strongly recommended Brandon's Floor Coverings for the laminate installation, since they were one of the only factory certified installers for the laminate. We made an appointment to meet the installer and have him look over the job.
From the first meeting we knew we were in good hands. Brandon's showed us how to save money without sacrificing quality or appearance on materials we were purchasing. The installer also explained the need for the additional prep work he was willing to do or said he would show us how to do it if we wanted to save money and do it ourselves. (We had Brandon's do the work.)
Next came scheduling. Brandon's was flexible around our living needs and coordinated the planning out of the different phases of the work with those in mind. It WAS NOT a case of and quot;Here is our schedule; we can do you now or never.and quot; They worked with us.
As they moved from room to room, they helped with moving furniture, etc; and, as I said, did exceptional work, right down to final trimming, vacuuming and polishing.

"Sesar Flores of In and Out Home Services called us immediately after I completed an online search for landscaping services. He made himself available to meet me to evaluate the designated large property for major weed removal from multiple large raised beds, clean up and mowing the back yard and removal of the existing poor front lawn and replacing it with sod, and assistance with our damaged sprinkler control center. He provided us with a written estimate that we felt was more than fair for the required work. They did a beautiful job in every area of the services provided and completed the work within the estimated time frame. Sesar followed up with us to review the completed work and to assure our satisfaction. We are so grateful to now have Sesar and his In and Out Home Services on our team!!!"

"This project was for three bathroom remodels in a 1960 single level ranch - the bathrooms hadn't had much updating.  There was extensive wallpaper in two of them which had to be removed (this is a terrible job!) followed by wall prepping.  The powder room proceeded without any problems and was done quickly. The guest bath required a few changes that were unexpected, such as moving the door frame to accommodate a 32" tub instead of the 30" originally in place, and moving the vanity light box.  Greg and Donnell were always happy  to do whatever I wanted, and offered advise and tips along the way when unexpected things came up. 
The en suite bathroom was a big mess from extensive water damage that we didn't know about.  When Greg took down the tiles parts of the wall completely collapsed from water damage (and everything looked great on the outside).  The wood beams were rotten, the sub floor under the shower tray was rotten and almost completely unsupported, and once Greg removed the tile flooring we realized that all of the sub floor had water damage and needed to be replaced.  Greg was suspicious and went into the crawl space under the house to determine if additional damage was evident, and it was.  This is a 1960 ranch house that has a strange support structure with support beams further apart than is typical.  The entire bathroom was essentially unsupported with the exception of two screw jacks in place (we knew about this from the home inspection but it wasn't clear the extent of previous damage).  Greg built an entire new support structure under the bathroom & shower.   As an add on we had Greg insulate our water pipes and replace some of the fiberglass insulation under the house.

I was so pleased with the work and the overall attitude of Greg and Donnell that I decided to have them install two new skylights.  Right after purchasing the house I tried to have skylights installed but was told by the contractor that he couldn't install them because the HVAC ducts were in the way (they are flexible plastic, not metal).  When I mentioned this to Greg he laughed and said of course the ducts could be moved, they're flexible and extenders can by installed if necessary (it wasn't).  Now I have two beautiful skylights thanks to Greg & Donnell!

Overall I really appreciated the communications between Greg, Donnell, and me.  We typically used text messaging which I find very convenient, and they could send me photos along with questions while I was at work.  I am a bit of a control freak and Greg and Donnell were OK with my need to know what was going on, and immediately if problems arose.  I plan on having them back in the early winter to replace an ugly stone fireplace facing and do some work on my kitchen."
