"We had a Pella patio door w/ sliding screen door, installed 1994. A year and a half ago, one of the screws holding the sliding screen door went loose because the anchor in the slide broke. Made all the calls to Pella, other door companies to find a replacement part...doesn't exist. Had a local door guy come in and his only recommendation was replace the whole patio door at a cost of around $15,000. No way. My wife doesn't like broken things.
