The communication and skills of the job once I was able to see for myself I knew they were the right company for the job. The first project was small patio, then it grew to building the back patio, then front and back walkway. Their work extended to small studio I have in the of the house. The team is reliable, dedicated to doing the work as other project came up, the attitude was always a can attitude. The job site was always clean and tidy. "The wait for installation was long and when scheduled, they called to "reschedule" due to the installer. Apparently they use outside contractors to install. When they showed up, they worked hard but one installer left for over 2 hours, leaving on one to work. They did not want to quit and come back (found out they get paid by the job and couldn't pick up a new job until ours was finished. They left the house at 10:05 PM. The salesman put the wrong transitions in the order despite numerous conversations. They also installed the shoe molding around our kitchen island wrong. I went to store in Pearland the next day. My salesman had been transferred and I met with the District Manager. It took over a week to get anyone back out to fix and then they brought the wrong transitions again. I called the District Manager and complained. She told me they weren't there to fix the island until I asked her to check the paperwork and she admitted it was on the work order. After numerous phone calls, the installers went to Home Depot and came back with something that would work. They were nice and got it fixed. The carpet was scheduled later and when they showed up, they pulled the old pile carpet and told me that the defects in the staircase would show up if they installed the berber carpet. I asked why the salesman didn't discuss that with me. He said the salesmen don't install. They suggested I fix the staircase, repaint it and call them back. I got it fixed and called the store. The District Manager told me it would be 3 weeks before they could come back even though the installer said it would take less than 2 hours to install it. I have called back and asked to improve the installation. They said they send an email to installation but I am still waiting a week later. I am calling the COO in Houston tomorrow. The first 2 times I used Floors for Living, they were privately owned but have been purchased by another company. The entire process was much different and less congenial. I won't ever use them again and caution anyone thinking about it to check multiple review sources."

"I was shopping around and found that most of the companies charge about the same per sq foot. However, when I spoke to Rich Bailey, the way he explained the entire process, it was great. It didn't hurt that there was an Angie's coupon. The process was over 2 days but, it overall it took maybe 5-6 hours total. A month in and everything is good. The true test will come in a few years as to how it holds up. Do get the feeling that if anything does go wrong, Epoxy Floors will address it."

Jose remodeled her kitchen and bathroom and she had a wonderful experience and it looked Spectacular!. I asked Jose to come give me an estimate and it was very fair, he was very willing to help with my vision and added some great ideas. Jose is a PRO!!! Jose is a Partner in the experience and really made all my Kitchen dreams come true. I had a vision and if he could not find the item I envisioned he had it created at a reasonable cost. Jose is resourceful, hardworking, timely and never left a day without cleaning up. There is so much I can say but not sure that all want to read a very long review so we will post some pictures. I have a couple other projects that we will be working together on in the future."
