"Michael Wright was a phenomenal professional we worked with to accomplish our roof installation project. He was well prepared and knowledgable, educating us on all their products and services in a clear and concise way. No one else in this industry was as transparent and had the paperwork and referrals to back their stelar reputation. I've had some bad experiences with other roofing companies. So, it was immediately clear to me I was in good hands. They even communicated often with us, checking in to see if we had questions and letting us know when the products were going to be delivered. I felt confident and comfortable working with them and I would hire them again when my next roofing project comes up."

"It was a pleasure working with Joe and Wendy. Their crew was incredible. They arrived at 8:00 and were pulling out of the driveway at 2:00. The roof is beautiful and the yard was immaculate after the job was done. You couldn’t even tell they had been here. The dumpster was gone the next morning. Joe and Wendy returned the next day to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof."

"The job went very well from the first discussion with Eli about what we were thinking for replacing our old roof to the final clean up. He got back to us in a very reasonable time with a quote and worked with our time frame well to get the job done. We also made a few changes along the way which were no problem. The total time was a little longer only due to the weather. The project required new water proof underlayment / ice and water shield, installing two new sky lights, metal work for approximately 14 different roof planes and 5 valleys. It also required flat work for area prone to snow build up. Eli was able to have the cedar trim boards delivered early so that they could all be pre finished before installation. The crew was very professional and always easy to talk to. They also picked up their work area and around the house every day before leaving. It was great having them around. <br />"

"W Ticos roofing did an excellent job on my roof. The estimate quote Alex gave me was very detailed and a great price. They are very hard workers, work long hours, very honest and polite, and they have a very high attention to detail. They kept me informed constantly with pics on the roof of what was goin on/what needed to be done, and gave me choices, they weren't pushy at all. They did a few extra things that I requested, and went above and beyond that. They left the yard and driveway in pristine condition, no old roof shingles, nails etc, left behind. My neighbors couldn't believe how fast they got the job done and what a nice job they did. I looked them up previously and read all reviews and choose them because they had all 5 stars and now I know why their company has all 5 stars, I even said that to Alex after I thanked him when the job was done. Very happy customer !!"

"Tim and Nathan did an excellent job with our water run-off (gap between roof and gutter). The most efficient repair was made using minimal materal to avoid high cost. The result was perfect in function and purpose and it exceeded my expectations. Both Tim and Nathan are conscientious, friendly, hard working and professional. I will recommend Team Vinyl and Roofing to anyone asking for this type of construction or repair."

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Rindge, NH

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
