"At first, I was very disappointed with the result. The boards were crooked, the fence was not plumb, and the concrete that was placed in the holes to support the posts was a total mess. Howver, I contacted Mr. Crossland in the Corpus office. This is one man that GETS it! He listened. He didnt make excuses. He simply handled it. Keep in mind, I was angry and highly skeptical. I have dealt with one bad contractor after another & was prepared for yet another let down. Mr. Crossland maintained open communication, he let me vent and frankly, I said some very harsh, albeit truthful, things. A week later i had the beautiful fence I paid for! They replaced the warped boards, fixed the concrete mess & even added a railing "cap" along the top for no additional cost. It looks awesome! There are SOO many companies out there that could learn alot from D&C fence's commitment to customer service! I gave them a B because the first 6 months were so stressful and it took a few times before Mr Crossland stepped in. But the bottom line is this is a professional company that actually cares about customers!"

"Scott Ballard was very pleasant to work with. He came to a property I had just purchased to measure and quote a chain link fence I wanted installed for dog enclosure. The fence measured approximately 450 feet. I wanted three gates. Not only did Scott make very accurate notes about my needs, he also let me know that some of what was quoted by another fence company was not necessary. The other company quoted gate sizes that were larger and more expensive than I needed. "The completed work was very nice, we were quite pleased. Company owner is VERY courteous and was always prompt. This was really appreciated. Workers were courteous and prompt and worked hard. They had to do a few things over in order to get everything correct but the end result was very good. Ask for a very detailed estimate up front, be sure to have all details spelled out so that there are no misunderstandings later (true for any job). We did need to watch as the work progressed and make corrections as needed.  These were the only areas where improvement was needed, although this estimate was much better than the others I received from other companies.   Any problems we felt we had were corrected.  The fencing and gates feel very sturdy and solid and I think they will last for many years."
