"McKay roofing was a pleasure to work with. Upon initial meetup, their representatives were honest and very informative. He even gave suggestions on how I might be able to do the work myself since the roof was in fairly good condition with minor leaks. Not many would do that. However, the job was roof & gutter repair on a fairly large and steep roof with flat center area. So I decided to hire them instead considering I didnâ t really have time to do it. Planning was smooth and straight forward. They completed the job within 1 cold and windy day and were very thorough and informative throughout. Pictures from before and after were provided even though Iâ ll eventually take a closeup look myself. The price was great and they even matched a competing offer. Finally, they cleaned up very well after the work and maybe made the surrounding area outside the house cleaner than before. The rain leak test is coming soon but their guarantee to return 3 times free of charge within a year makes me comfortable. Iâ d highly recommend them for myself and others in the future."

"I appreciate the quick callback from the Angie’s List notification. When I spoke to Mr. Isaac he was able to come to my property within an hour. He & his son met me there and assessed the job. They educated me of several options to help save money and fix the roofing leaks. They were honest and very personable. Once contracted the work was done in a couple of days after it had stopped raining. I was not there during the roof repair but they kept me informed with photos of the work being done. They did an outstanding job. I was truly impressed when two days after the completion of the work it rained very hard. Mr. Isaac texted me during the rain to see if there were any leaks. "We first became aware of this company at a home expo. We were in need of additional insulation in our attic and were looking into a ridge vent being installed as well. During inspection, we realized we needed a roof too. We negotiated a fair price for all three requested jobs and work started about a month later. During the job, the workers mistakenly trashed our gutter helmets and some were damaged beyond repair. We discussed this with our project manager and they were ultimately replaced free of charge. During the insulation install, the workers dropped a hammer through our ceiling and left a hole. It was repaired very nicely within a couple of days and you can’t even tell it happened. The cleanup after was very thorough. I found 1 or 2 pieces of metal after, but that’s nothing compared to what I’ve seen other companies leave behind on jobs for my neighbors. Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with the work performed and the price paid. Aside from the somewhat pushy sales tactics on the front end, I’d highly recommend this company."

I had invited a few estimates and eventually decided to have "RIBA Construction" do the job. They provided professional services at a fair price and good quality. "It went fantastic. Dave, the salesperson, came right away. He was professional and friendly. Gave me the info about sizes (we chose the 14-inch), features (it has a solar nightlight which gives enough glow at night you don’t have to turn lights or have a nightlight on), prices, tax break, etc. Since they came highly recommended from our friends in Fairfax Station, VA, we hired them. We had to have permission from our HOA. They approved it with the proviso that the baffle would match the roof color. We got the RustOleoum paint can Dave and Al recommended in the shade of gray that matched our roof as required. Their two technicians came within a few days, Al spray painted the baffle and that was that. In about an hour and a half tops, they installed the skylight. I am SO happy we got this in our bathroom! It’s my favorite room now. No kidding. Wished we had done this sooner."

"Power home did a door to door, after meeting with their rep for siding, we liked the superior quality of their vinyl siding with a foam backing. Our current siding had issues of water penetration and algae growth and frankly was cheap as the previous owner took advantage of drive by sales after a hail storm. On their QA inspection post install? They found further water penetration through the roof and provided me proof of that so we went high end with a GAF roofing system. End result? Yeah it cost quite a bit more than my comfort zone. But you get what you pay for. We are more comfortable, and since this occurred during winter? I noted my heat pump did not cycle as often. And we got our electric company assessment for energy use for a totally electric home? Excellent. Impact of the better siding and better roof."
