He took his time, did a very good job, was neat and pointed out slight stains on the furniture that could not be removed (sofas were older and had been in storage for months). "I had what I thought was a small job, a leak I had noticed on my enclosed porch and I no longer had the services of my trusted handyman of many years whom I would have turned to with this issue. After reading reviews, I called Matt. He examined the leak and then in his further assessment found much bigger issues: that the windows installed over 15 years ago were the wrong windows, had not been sealed correctly and that there were other areas of hidden damage. The siding had also not been correctly installed. He sent me photos and attached links to articles to educate me about his findings. He never went further even in his assessment without my consent and made himself available to me to talk about his findings and his recommendations. I was horrified by the enormity of the damage done by someone else's subpar and expensive work and was hesitant to so easily trust Matt. He drew up an extremely detailed estimate, every step of the work delineated with labor and materials, completely transparent and indicative of his innate fairness and competence. Where he could save me money, he did. I went ahead and had him proceed. I can tell you that after that initial hesitation, he has won my trust completely. He is a professional, has integrity and is a pleasure to deal with. He is extremely knowledgeable about a vast number of topics but when he doesn't know, he will say so. He was flexible about adding and removing items (mostly adding!) as the work proceeded. I very much appreciated the quality of his communication with me and his understanding of my availability because of work for in-person meetings. When there were some minor issues with the work that I was not completely happy with, he addressed them immediately until they were to my satisfaction, not asking for the last third of the balance until I was completely pleased with the job done. Knowing all that had been previously done incorrectly, I am relieved to have found someone who is both competent and trustworthy. His crew was a delight to work with as well. I just signed a contract for another job with Matt and have already discussed with him the jobs for next year!"

"Arnie and his crew of dedicated professionals laid out a beautiful stone patio at the back of our home. It included building two stone walls and a circular shaped stone path with steps. Arnie carefully laid out plans for the stone work as well as designing a lovely area with new plants and trees and a lovely rock garden. The result is a beautiful oasis that looks great. His crew was professional, always on time, worked non stop and always cleaned up the debris at the end of the day. The entire job took about one week. We also had some old bushes removed from the front of the house and replaced with new ones. Arnie also used all the remaining soil and mulch for other areas of the property including grading one side of the house and sprucing up our driveway plants.
